You guys haven't played against a killer who knows how to use trickster yet, have you? Trust me he is pretty good now. Is he still weak at certain tiles, and it hurts him because he is 110% killer? Absolutely. He will never be as strong as nurse, spirit, or blight innately because he is 110% and there are a decent amount of big maps. But there are many situations where no matter what you do, he will down you fast.
He can 100-0 you from healthy to dying VERY fast compared to huntress and slinger if he catches you in a spot where has vision of you at all times, which is more common then you think. Just be patient and give it a few weeks until people start to realize that he can actually be quite toxic to play against.
I've been using him a lot lately and 4K'ng good players at rank 1. Some of the matches go to 1 gen left but that is expected to the map sizes and gen split pressure. Even the best SWF's i've played against where everyone held W and abused los (trickster's weaknesses), I always got a 2-3 K and imo that is a win or draw in my book. Don't sleep on the trickster and definitely don't over buff him. He is also a blast to play because people always try to clown you then realize they can't haha.

Best survivors from what I've personally seen are Cope, Usyliss and Fungoose.
Cope is an amazing survivor. Nothing fancy. Just very good looping. I highly recommend him.
Usyliss is very good too. Although he hasn't made much content lately. He does try to do unique plays so he is good to watch in that aspect. Overall though, very good survivor.
Fungoose is also a great survivor. He knows how to loop and counter mindgame well. However lately he has played a lot of swf, and he plays on AU servers so I dont know how many top killers there are (no offense) compared to Eu and Na.
Honorable mentions are Ayrun, Zubat, and OhTofu.

Dude. Please do not compare spirit to a fighting game. Mix-up characters in fighting games are characters that force you into 50/50 spots. The pro players who study the game will know what each fighter is capable of, potentially punishing the opponent if they guess right. They also have an opportunity to fight back.
Spirit is a very dumb killer for many reasons. One, you can't see her through her power. Giving you zero opportunity for counterplay. She doesn't really need to loop because she just shifts on you. Also most killers with movement powers get a penalty after using their power. Hilbilly cooldown, legion stun, nurse fatigue, Oni slight pause. Even blight will have one. But spirit does not. If she whiffs, it's no biggie. She didn't follow properly? No problem. Passive phase is just dumb as well. So yeah, she is a killer that definitely needs to be looked at. And I think most people agree on that, including killer mains.
