I don't think there's a good way to implement the Weeping Angels into dbd. The biggest problem being that survivors looking at the angel completely take away all actions the killer player can take. Which isn't going to be fun for the killer play as.

There's also the issue that Ghostface's reveal mechanics is already wonky and sometimes you can't reveal the ghostface standing in the open as a survivor or as killer getting revealed through walls. Locking a killer out of all actions with a wonky mechanic like that just isn't going to be fun.

Sure we could have multiple Angels on a trail and the killer can teleport between them to prevent being locked out, but I don't see that fixing the fun issue. The Weeping Angels simply don't seem like a good killer for a player to play as. Would be a much better idea if the killer was just an AI.

I think you should go check out this guys https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/208641/new-killer-the-angel-weeping-angel-from-dr-who It has a really detailed explanation that would make everything extremely possible, if we can get it to gain traction, it might get noticed!!!

    Thank you for your feedback

  • This is amazing, but I think a blinking mechanic should be added as one of the Angels default perk, further preventing cheesing the game by staring at the angel. That way the angel has a chance to work up to the angel husks perk, and not just given it right away! It would make the angel last longer and people feel more accomplished!

Would need a pretty lengthy cooldown to switch between them. Otherwise you just park one at each gen and dominate the map.

thats true, thanks for the feedback
