  No its not boring what it means is you will need skill to play not cash. Perks and ad-dons are what make the game unbalanced. No I don't complain about that in cod because they have a very basic balancing system for the weapons so they don't tend to be a problem. Whereas the perk system in this does make it unbalanced. If you had a class based system with no perks just set abilities the ranking system would make sense but it isn't like that and makes the game annoying and luck or money based. The original three halo games skill based and were some of the greatest games ever created.
