  • For me, I mainly just play this game with my friends. But when I play online, I am almost always playing killer. I mainly play to win, though some of the time I will goof around with survivors as Bubba or Ghost Face since I find that really fun to do.

Regarding survivors being toxic; I know that is very hard to ignore. But you've gotta desensitize yourself to it. If you get angry while playing, you'll make mistakes, and the survivors will continue being toxic because they're playing better than you. I know this is easier said than done, however.

Always be prepared to lose though, winning is not everything, and you are bound to lose some games. It is ok to lose, don't beat yourself up over it, it sucks I know. But every single loss is progress, you are becoming a better player when you lose. Especially if you take the time to consider what you did in that game that lead to your loss, and not doing it again.

In general though? Play how you want; don't follow 'made up' rules, play in weird ways, try to make builds that have perks that synergize nicely, use some add-ons that you've never used before, try out new killers (I myself have tried getting into Trapper as of late, I find him really challenging to play but fun!)

Like any competitive game, don't be afraid to take a break. Sometimes I perform iffy, and I take an hour break and workout and then come back and play way better than I did before.

Hope this helped you to a degree, have fun! And don't give up :)
