• I realize this is a late reply, but I've had this problem FOREVER and it's incredibly frustrating. It happened again recently, and to bypass the current 72 hour lock on my account, I used one of my old Steam accounts and used Family Sharing to play the game.

  Doing this gives me a fresh access to the game, but none of the points or items or prestige levels on my old account - it's like starting over brand new. Somehow, playing on this brand new character, I don't get dc'd at all. It's been hours. I usually disconnect within 1-3 rounds.

  Since the wifi is the same, the computer is the same, the platform is the same, I wonder if the disconnections come from me using a character that owns a bazillion items (literally thousands of medkits, toolboxes, etc). Once my original account unlocks, I'm going to try playing on a character that doesn't have many items and see if it makes any difference.

  I know it doesn't make sense, but I have the weirdest feeling that the dc's have something to do with having an excessive amount of items. Does your main character have tons of items, by any chance?
