• This happened to me and my friend as well, we are both on Steam. I believe it happened as a part of the update where the invite/accept requirement came. I play with like 4 Steam friends, this only doesn't work with 1 of them - the friend that I have had the longest. Very frustrating as I cannot play duo games with him at all. Invite/accept doesn't work in normal games, survivor 2v8 or killer 2v8, we tried it all. If I log into another account it works.

• Had a blast with 2v8 as always, will likely only play occasionally now until next 2v8 or if the upcoming QoL changes actually makes a difference. For me the normal 1v4 mode started a down-spiral at the time of the winter-event, and I have not felt like playing 1v4 since.
