Send me a VOD of you playing your average killer match, we'll see what survivors you go against and what is your killer skill. I doubt it's high, but who knows, you might be one of the brightest DBD players to play the game who doesn't need anti-gen perks to consistently win the game at high MMR. The prodigy.

It would be nice if i knew my mmr or if you knew yours, untill then mmr is a fairytail, all i can do is go iridescence 1( with "troll" pekrs) and wait for those survivors that will make me uninstall the game ( that they never come btw). I dont remember the last time i got less than 2 survivors and one friend that saw me play uninstalled the game and he was saying the same things as you do :) you guys only repeat things you hear like mmr and crazy theories.

You do know that most regression perks require you to end chases (and fastly so) to get value out of them?

In fact, if you're running full regression build, you're likely good at chases considering you don't need any anti-chase/information to perks to find and catch survivors. If I was bad at chases, I would literally get 3-4 useless perks as they would never proc/barely proc.

    What an interesting argument lmao.

If you were good at chases they wouldnt have time to make gens? i dont run any gen defense, its boring

So let me get this straight...

Survivors get free unbreakable every 45 seconds because in 1 in 20 games a Nurse might slug 4 people to end the game early (happens mostly against 4-man overly altruistic SWF which is good). First off, how does that even happen? Secondly, if you got slugged as 4 men, you probably deserved to lose...

Meanwhile, killers literally have to run gen regression perks on every build to even to have a chance to win a game. That is irrespectively on how they play. It's so prelavant/needed for most of the killers that you might even call it base kit at this point.

So why is gen regression/gen slowdown not part of the killer's base kit considering that it's basically a must nowadays to have a chance to win the game?

You run gen defence because you are bad at chasing, thats all. Grow up :)

  • Every killer is easy, dont you worry about that :)

I think the killrate should be 75%, it would fit the horror theme of the game and be good for balance.

I think your survive rate is 0%, thats why you are asking for an 75% for everyone. Thats really sad

I don't understand why I would want to continue playing as a killer with such abuse.

no one forces you, go do something better. maybe grow up?

I genuinely hate all the changes proposed with the Finisher Mori dev update and BHVR has stated that "we're closely monitoring the feedback and this won't be on the next patch". So here's my feedback - put it on the back burner. This idea, either needs scrapping or tons more work and it's not something you should prioritize.

Focus up on that Solo Queue hell, please.

If your feedback is one way and the update is another way, that means something doesnt it? I dont want to break your fairytail but maybe all you can feed back is tears?

Before, slugging occupied three survivors: 1 slugged, 1 being chased, 1 coming to pick up.

Now, especially with Unbreakable, nobody needs to come pick up. The pressure of slugging at vital moments has been nerfed approximately to 66% of what it was before.

This is a huge nerf and it deserves all of the backlash it's receiving.

It is just a PTB, but how many times in the past has BHVR released a PTB, the community has pointed out huge problems, and they are set live anyway?

Remember Boil Over? This is that, but worse.

    A lot worse.

And I have little faith in BHVR to change course at this point.

At least with 6.1 they did address endurance stacking and Reassurance being busted before it went live, so there's a glimmer of hope. But the track record thus far gives me significant cause for worry.

BHVR doesn't seem to ever consider how stuff they introduce will be (ab)used at the top levels of play, at least not until people show them after they've already released it.

We need to start making noise now, and I'm glad people are.

    the changes are great :)

This is a basic QoL change most MMOs have when you need to traverse a distance. I typically bind it to "r" and tap it when there is no reason to hold "w" the entire time. If you as a Killer know you are going to a gen you can tap autorun and press "a"/"d" while turning the camera to scan the horizon en route. Autorun ends when you press "w"/"s" and you can continue no problem. The purpose is to help reduce fatigue (for your hands and keyboard) in holding one button for extended periods of time. Even 3s would be long enough to justify it imo.

Just because you use autorun doesn't mean you use it 24/7. It is a QoL tool for bursts and I would recommend it for both roles.

Yes its some easy qol maybe both can have it but i play more killer thats why i felt they need it more.

    Do you even play killer?

    No i m waiting for you :)

  • @ByeByeQ said:

A killer who holds W all the time is almost always a bad killer. They are predictable and blind, easy to loop and lose.

A good killer stops pressing W to strafe left and right with A and D while in chase so they can keep a better eye on survivors. They stop pressing W to mindgame or to moonwalk. They stop pressing W when traversing the map so they can look around but keep traveling in the direction they wish to travel in.

Not all killer movement is done with W. Movement is not as mindless as being stationary and holding M1 on a gen. Why aren't you suggesting survivors get a W toggle as well?

Your question in the end is already anwsered in my post. As for your definitions of a good and bad killer, i would not say a killer is bad when he takes 3-4 kills every game. It is ok if you want to mindgame turn your back or do a backflip while playing but why is it bad to play otherwise and still make the work done?

  • @ByeByeQ said:

A good killer is never holding W all the time and a toggle for it is an awful idea.

I can not see what your term of bad or good on a killer means, maybe a good "killer" for you is someone that farms just blood points and obviously does not need to move a lot in the game.
