I've had the opposite experience and barely noticed the changes. Overall the meta shake up update has done a really good job. Low tier killers don't need to be reworked, at least for the moment, instead focus needs to be shifted towards killers like nurse.

You are always going to get some value out of eruption. There are no signs to survivors that you have the perk so you will at least get one use.
I also doubt that most SWFs will be able to coordinate when someone is about to go down. Most of the time chases are unpredictable anyway.
