Yeah that's ok, I just feel its reasonable. COB+Overcharge is no longer a thing I can really guarantee value with every kick. It's now something I try to create the situations its thrives in. And I'm ok with it.

You can view the 8-damage limit as 8 different attempts for each generator to try some sort of Massive Regression event.
And you really only need a 50% or more progressed generator to be reduced to 0, possibly once to see a gigantic shift in the match's outcome. As satisfying as it is, we can still COB+Overcharge on a corner gen, and prevent repairs tactically to get a similar result. A killer just needs to keeps the survivors hands off it for longer.

In the shortest nutshell: This whole direction is stepping on Twins' toes.
I'm a Merchant player, I liked initial merchant, I liked second merchant, I don't like Twins-Merchant.
-
So, once a 1x or more survivors get a Claw Trap, Merchant recalls her drones. Then the survs never get their Claw Traps off??
-
This power you've written is quite powerful. I assume you have 6x drones. But even if its less, you have multiple AI Doctors floating around Incapacitating. Incapacitation is kinda their thing (so you're stepping on doctor's toes), but also its really powerful.
The idea of multi incapacitation anytime a drone procs is wild, but with drones that walk around LoS blockers is even more wild. -
This isn't her new direction, they're clipping her wings until her larger reworkin of her power.
Don't get attached, its meant to discourage you from playing her until later. -
Hard agree

So for Merchant, they have 6x very wide traps essentially. They're wide and easy to set off. The drones downside is that they need 3x triggers on 1x surv to add a claw Trap. Then a 4th to add the Hinder.
Compare that with a Trapper trap, or a Hag Trap, its likely the weakest trap. They're not subtle, they have an orange floor indicator. So for the hinder removal, probably no good. As in, its not a good thing for a merchant to rely on, and they're likely being handed the chase if it occurs.
I think your second point of hacking cleansing a tracking stack is actually kinda cool, and interesting if you can cleanse the tracker dots and merchant's tracking haste right after a laser hits you. This way it would allow a surv making a mistake while they're far away from Merchant to undo the mistake. -
I love the Chaos, I love the weak builds, I love not being accused of bringing sweaty perks.
I love watching the streamers still enjoying Shuffle mode. I love the weird pseudo gambling of hoping for a half-decent build. I love that this has brightened up the streaming/youtube dbd space. I've never been so excited, and satisfied with something so simple -
I would say because they can. Pallets and windows can normally be reached in the 10sec of basekit borrowed time after an unhook.
Once you're there against an M1, you're playing DBD normally. If you're playing a killer who can keep up, and nullify windows and pallets, its a viable and worthy option to count to 11, and when basekit borrowed time is up, hit them again.
For an M1, many things can go wrong, so its a bit less certain. With those killers, it becomes certain. Moral of the story? Borrowed Time as a perk is still amazing for the scenario (but sadly a thing your teammate has to bring to benefit you). At the very least, bring it for yourself, because it affects the 3 other survs in your game, if you want to prevent the killer trying to avoid basekit borrowed time on your precious team. -
The above LoL System that you're referring to does not actually affect a player's matchmaking experience in LoL. It simply added a mark to the profile picture when they are getting into a game.
It did work work in 2x very small ways when I used to play.
#1, people behaved themselves a little more, in order to hopefully earn the approval markers.#2, it was actually extremely easy to get the approval markers if you were polite, helped the team, and didn't throw a tantrum during a LoL game. I got mine in something like 2x days. So what actually happened was, if you ever saw any players WITHOUT the endorsement markers, that was rare and almost certainly a red flag, letting you know you were in for a ill-behaved teammate.
Anyways, that's the context for LoL's system, it doesn't affect their matchmaking at all. -
Referring specifically to Feb-9-2024 Killer Updates:
The buffs to Projection movement speed duration, and Manifestation movement speed buff to 4ms both feel incredibly freeing and open up Onryo's chase power for mindgames and using her blinking visibility. Prior to this, losing distance on survivors while manifesting felt like such a detriment, it was something to avoid to enable a passable chase.
As Onryo is a killer who skips hooks (like Pig), I would understand if a nerf was needed due to kill rates. BUT, if that happens, I think working around her condemned (such as Condemned radius nerfs, TV deactivation times tweaked) would be preferable.
Keep the Movement speed changes from that update, Lunging out of TV's is way to fun.
