• To me, the story for The Alchemist feels almost like a tribute to something like In The Tall Grass. There are a lot of themes of forgetting how long he's been stuck in this world, a sense of thinking hes seen something before even though the events are unfolding in front of his eyes in the present, slowly degrading his mind over time

  I HIGHLY doubt they would try to pull this off, but I like the idea of them releasing him as both a Survivor AND Killer. The survivor would be a younger timeline version of himself, and the killer an older, mentally unstable version he becomes after spending the amount of time he has in the trials.

  Again, I can absolutely say I dont think they're doing this, but boy would it be awesome to have a story like that in dbd.
