I can hardly stand playing on PS4 because of this. It's one of the few things remaining that make PS4 less fun to play. Replays are boring to watch as your only control of time is either pause, .5x, 1x or 2x speed. No 30 second skip forward or back, no skip no next event. If a replay is more than 10 minutes it's not worth even looking at on PS4. Then you go to big outposts as a raider and it takes FOREVER to load, and hope like hell you don't die because you'll be loading that same time again.
I did a test the other day. I was able to prestige and activate 4 outposts on PC and make it back to the sanctuary in the time it took to do that for 1 base on PS4. Hope they fix this.

Excellent idea. Perhaps having a toggle option to highlight the tombs on your map when in build mode would make it easier to plan them into your outpost. I can't stand when the tomb gets hidden behind a wall, especially when you can tell it was accidental. If people do that intentionally, that's just no accolades for you. But the fact that these are getting blocked out by players who don't know what they are really sucks.

100% this. Console is struggling to keep me entertained the same as PC. Aside from loading screens being significantly longer on console, we also have to deal with some funky key bindings on certain screens, and even the lack thereof in the realm of replays. Watching replays feels like a chore because at best you can watch it in 2x speed. PC you can skip in 30s intervals, as well as jump to the next key moment such as a death or GenMat collection. Accolades struggle on console as well due to the fact that the button you naturally expect to select the accolade actually skips the accolade screen altogether. The only reason I have been playing console recently is I am unable to play co-op in a crossplay setting as you are able to do in some games. I hope this becomes a feature at some point, though I know it would take some serious effort from the developers.
Please devs, make console better. You have a gem of a game here and the difference in playability between PC and console is just not right.

I don't really see this being an "advantage". While it might reduce the players' overall time investment on your outpost for not having to restart every time, you're still earning mats and prestige points off of them being there and dying, in fact, likely more than the solo player who is taking their sweet time. Punishing people for playing with friends sounds like a great way to kill the fun of coop in a game.
Also, if by "broken" you mean completed, I really suggest considering some design changes. Playing an impossible outpost that takes 30 minutes to finally complete really isn't that fun. Balance difficulty with good level design and diverse trap setups rather than make someone feel like they're training for the Olympics to make it through 1 room.

I guess it makes sense.
But I wish restoring base Genmat was not based on Prestige, just so people who do have bases like mine are not immediately shafted, I feel like having a good base in general should not be something you are punished for.
Honestly I just think it comes down to how young the game is. Players who didn't get in on the beta haven't even had a full week to figure out movement, some people are slower learners. I bet in a month or so, bases like yours will do just fine as people are more comfortable navigating and acting with speed over caution.

My base rewards making quick decisions and having good movement. Going too slow or making poor decisions is a good way of getting yourself killed.
A lot of bases punish you for rushing, which is why a lot of people rage quit when they face something different. It also makes great use of traps you never really see used properly (Iron Claw and Corrosive Cube).
Iron claw + corrosive cube is definitely one of my favorite combos. Done right in the right spot it catches just about everyone. I imagine the reason people are struggling with your base is because much of the player base hasn't developed the movement skills to actually perform such a raid. I notice a lot of people that really take their sweet time in my outposts, which I punish in some spots. I feel if you make the entire outpost focused on speed and rapid reaction, you're frustrating players who are still struggling to master movement mechanics. Not that this is a bad thing by any means, I'd love to raid your outpost tbh, but it may hinder you from being able to prestige that beast.

"If you don't get enough prestige points you can't prestige you base, and deleting it is your only option (at least as far as I know). Then you have to buy and build new outpost."
This is the only part you got wrong afaik. You really have no need to delete the base, unless you've somehow managed to meet your burial site capacity. You are able to set the base into social mode so yourself and other players are still able to run the raid. Doing so will not produce GenMat for you, nor will it give you prestige points. Raiders also will not receive rewards for completing your raid. So while there is no REAL benefit to putting your base in social mode, there's also no much benefit from deleting. Archive your bases and use them as reference in the future. See what worked, what didn't work, get better.

I'm that guy, I'll die in your base 30 times if the base is at least enjoyable. Bases I will quit are ones that repeatedly use the same trap combos over and over again, overload an area with a ridiculous amount of one trap (looking at you incinerator boys) or the path to the GenMat is so convoluted I spend more time looking for it than dealing with any traps or guards. Do you think your base is enjoyable? Do you perhaps have one or just a couple of areas that constantly destroy people? Maybe consider making a few areas slightly easier so players are less frustrated and more intrigued. Nothing is fun when it feels impossible. Good luck and gz on your prestige!
