  • I really am glad these are issues the Dev's said they're trying to fix (plus I'm on the devs side more than anything), but still disappointed that they let as much as they did get through. I know the pandemic is getting to everyone, but I wish the people running it would have waited AT LEAST one more week

  • I still don't like the idea of a Five Nights at Freddy's chapter in Dead by Daylight, but I have to say this would be an interesting enough killer.

Love the perks though, those are great! I especially love Death's Design.

  • Every Steve I've seen is either more annoying or cuter than baby Dwights. Yes even at Rank 10

  • I really don't like deep wounds. I think it's unhealthy for the game and the character, and the most prevalent frustration with Legion. Hemorrhage isn't good, but at least it's more tolerable imho.

I think it would be cooler to teleport on a whim, and also better and more fitting for the character as a whole, giving them more map pressure. You're saying you wouldn't wanna play as all four FJSJ in a game?

Add the stacking of deep wounds, and any other add-on effect, to prolong the mend time, and remove the deactivate power after hitting a survivor with deep wounds.

When within 10m of a trapped locker, one of the members jumps out, hit and apply deep wounds to a survivor. You will get a notification, and that member is returned to your arsenal. Within 20m, their auras are revealed until interrupted.

Love the Idea, I also posted a Legion rework Idea, feel free to check it out.

Here's the thing...it's NOT a perk...its a Hex, it can just go away...

I did say that it should be a normal perk, not a hex. Still doesn't change my argument

  • But wait isn't using multiple perks to synergize with each other the whole point of a build? No, Ruin shouldn't be a Hex perk with its current strength, that's a good point. My point is I'm sick of people who say "Good perks shouldn't need other perks to be strong." It makes no sense and kinda feels like you're complaining to complain.

  • My favorite is the "Broken Build"

    No Mither

    Second Wind

    Deliverance

And Inner Strength or Self Care to round it off

  • Bloodhound is also really strong. I should be able to hide from him while injured.

  • It would be broken

    It would be insane

    It would be inane

It would overall be a really fun time if you like losing against busted things. And from my experience people don't like fun in their video games.

I mean imagine a Wraith with Freddy teleport or a Billy with Nurse Blink. That would be incredible to see.

  • I'm an inheritly trolly person (I try to never take it too far) in video games so I don't have an opinion on people like that.

That being said it's hilarious when I run a meme build like no mither and second wind and get hate mail.

  • I still like the idea of starting off as one member and being able to place the others in closets

  • I kinda wish the killer was Charles as Chucky, but i think the power could work. I think he should have more dolls, and work like a better trapper.

Instead of having 3 dolls I assume at all times the dolls could just be seated at windows or pallets for you to pick up. Obviously you won't be able to pick them all up.

Another idea would be able to throw the dolls to attack people to make up for that.

  • I like to think this guy's theme is DNA.

Really cool, I love the idea that you have to more or less choose what the survivor's effectiveness is.

Although I kinda the status effects were swapped, but that's my preference on how i play.

For the perks Lock and Key seems powerful for occasionally blocking the exit gates for 30 seconds, I assume at max level. But considering how often you're gonna close them, who knows.

  • If they removed a lot of the corn vision it'll be a bit more tolerable. Maybe fix the Thompson House to be easier on survivor.

  • A steak is a cut of meat meant to be cooked and eaten. Another important use of steak is to kill vampires, because it is one of the only two things that can kill a vampire, the other being a C-R-O-S-S. One would presume this to be an accidental misspelling of the word "stake", a small, pointed chunk of wood, typically used in fiction to kill traditional vampires. However, this same "error" is continually used throughout the story, and never once is the term "stake" ever introduced.

Jokes aside, i think this is a very interesting concept.

As I read, this killer becomes more and more cool. I didn't think the T1 thing was all that great, but now I think it's a cool mechanic to have to protect something using your soul. I think its a bit of a pain to have to go back to your husk after 90-120 seconds, I think that you should be able to do it at any time, without a countdown.

I would also love to see changes to T1. It doesn't strike me as all that great if people are able to just perpetuate your fire indefinitely, and seems boring to have a killer that pretty much does nothing besides walk around and kick you off gens without any danger. A gimmicky attack would work much better.

I also don't like that Tier 3 applies Deep Wounds. Deep Wounds is a bad and annoying status effect, change my mind. If it did something, ANYTHING else, I think it'd be better, even if it's just hemorrhage or something.

Otherwise, a fine concept, if a bit in need for tweaks.

  • I see what you mean with the power. Oversight on my part (but hey that's why I posted this on a forum.) Let's compromise and have the ice be removed quickly if a gen is completed or hooked survivor be saved. It'll keep the gameplay I want and be less annoying.

I suppose what i meant by "impact" about Hypothermia is that it's intended to slug. Slugging can 'win' games fairly well, and for one or two killers, be a completely viable, if a bit cheesy strat (if your goal is to 3K-4K). Here's why I think it should be a Hex perk: survivors who don't want to be slugged hard would go and find that totem, slowing the game a bit. As soon as survivors realize someone has Hypothermia, at least 1 is going to search for that totem.

An understated strength with all hex perks is that they have a good chance to slow the game, even if it saves a minute or two. Obviously it's terrible if someone finds it right away, but there's nothing you can do about that with any normal Hex.

I also know there could be amazing and Maybe cheesy synergies with Hypothermia. But IMO, perks besides ones that are great individually, such as ruin and bbq aren't worth having unless

Another thing you mentioned is it should affect all survivors. I would think that would make it a glorified Sloppy Butcher. I'm trying to make it somewhat original.

Tl;DR, I agree on the power, but not Hex: Hypothermia. That's staying where it is.

  • So I would have to assume that the hooks pull you in a straight line? I think if that's the case it'd be an interesting killer, even if a bit hillbilly-ish

  • This would be great in a stealthy build. Although I wish it'd just effect haste in general, just to give it more impact and make it more useful.

  • I think The Spirit is fine as she is, but the ability to bump into survivors is a little much. One of the biggest Spirit counterplays is running in one direction and then reversing.

Her ability to bump into you makes that counterplay rough, because she can walk in your initial direction, and then get a free hit on you

The time it takes for the frost to be removed is simply too long. Maybe it lasts for 30 seconds once the full area is frozen over?

Chilling Grasp is nearly useless, in the same tier as Monstrous Shrine. There's no way to make a perk based off of a Survivor wiggling off useful, since sabo squads practically don't exist anymore.

Terrifying Gaze is alright, I guess? It'd require the "looking at" function to actually work. One question, does the Killer have to be able to see the Survivor, or not?

A considerably difficult skillcheck is easy. Any Survivor above rank 15 or so can hit DS skillchecks, which I believe are tremendously difficult. This perk in general shouldn't be a Hex perk, and definitely needs a buff, even if it's no longer a Hex. Good concept, though.

The power is great, but the perks? Not so much. Terrifying Gaze is cool, and Hex: Hypothermia is a cool concept, but could use a better execution. Chilling Grasp, though, would be useful in at most once every other game. And for all I know it does not effect DS and flashlight saves, making it even worse.

Thank you for reading this, and I hope you take my critiques into consideration.

Hey thanks for all the feedback! I'll admit right away that I know survivor more than I do killer, especially when it comes to balance.

Let's address Hypothermia first: I'm very hesitant to make this not a Hex. It changes how the game is played too much.

    Instead I'll make it:

Including performing a temendous skill check at level 3, they also heal 75% slower. I'll remove the recovery rate of dying survivors.

    Chilling Grasp:

A previous comment by Raekko mentioned it should work with DS and Flashlights. I think that makes it more viable, but I'll also buff the numbers by 10 each.

    As for Terrifying Gaze:

You simply need to look in the general direction within your terror radius/whatever your level is. You don't need to have the survivor visible on your camera.

For the power tweak you mentioned:

Remember that Snap Freeze needs 30 seconds to be applied. I think it's fair enough.

  • I think it's a good power to pressure survivors. I really like this concept, especially with the arm on fire.

(My favorite part is the post-attack animation, there's something charming about it)
