Still have no clue why they thought adding ranks into it would be a good idea lol. Maybe if the MMR was only limited to the game mode it would be cool. Should be completely separate from the normal game.

I made this post salty af but I still stand on solo queueing this game mode is miserable. Played with some SWF friends that are newer to the game and had some fun with it but only because of voice comms which kinda defeats the limited information we're supposed to have in Lights Out. Maybe if survivors had basekit Iron Will or gen auras were removed we would see better solo queue gameplay in it. Anyway, hopefully the next game mode doesn't flop, ScottJund made a vid saying they likely spent most of the time developing the framework for game modes, now they just gotta deliver something better.

Agreed, the only benefit for survivors is if you're playing SWF, other than that this mode is frustrating and it sucks I have to grind out the totem. They should remove DC penalty. I pretty much never DC from actual matches because there's counterplay, but if the counterplay in this game mode is just watching your team get slugged and camped I'd prefer to DC instantly and try to find a killer who wants to try to have fun with it. It's not scary, it's just frustrating and boring when killers feel like they have to, or in some cases, LOVE camping and slugging because it's easier now.

Bro really said it's easy for survivors, yeah, maybe for SWF but not solo queue. If you're killer all you have to do is slug, camp, and play killers that waste time. GG I can't even DC from these awful games without penalty.

I honestly just think they should remove DC penalty for this game mode, this is insanely frustrating. Someone just played Pig, trapped everyone, slugged, camped hook and slug. Actual miserable gameplay when solo queueing it.
