I don't believe that it's intentionally survivors sided by design, I will say there's a number of factors that go into play that make it feel that way and also sometimes those factors make it feel killer sided. For example a good blight on a map that has a really good 3 gen and few pallets and alot of deadzones, vs a trapper on the game or blood lodge. Those are very different experiences on both sides. Alot of things that make the game feel the way it does is often the rng elements. There are certain things survivors and killers can utilize to make it feel one way or the other, add that ontop of favorable or unfavorable rng and it makes it a worse feeling.

I like the idea just not in its current form. Maybe blocking 3 random dull totems however your limiting yourself to only 2 hex perks and corrupt won't block any hex totems only dull totems, and undying won't transfer to a corrupted dull totem. In theory this should protect against boons early on and encourage survivors into interacting with the killer earlier while also not having an ruin that can't be cleansed for 2 minutes. However there's a chance your ruin could still spawn In a very undesirable place and get cleansed 20 seconds in.

Trapper is very map dependent. Where you put your traps is very important, a smart survivor can predict where your traps are based on which side of the map you spawned and the type of loop or Jungle gym. As a Trapper main myself I only set up 2 or 3 traps at the start then go for a chase and study survivors pathing to determine where I think I should place my traps or to instead use my traps in chase or purely as temporary area denial such as doorways or pallets. There is so many things working against him that when you do well it feels amazing but the rest of the time your wishing you were playing any other killer.
