The only time I have pulled a dc was on the swamp map vs the Huntress. It was near the start of the round, so I was creeping around the edges trying to get a direct visual on any generators to fix rather than immediately rushing out into the open. This ended up being my downfall however as I soon get STUCK on a log. I don’t mean “whoops! Gotta go around this,” I mean my character had encountered some sort of weird surface collision with a log and I could not move from the spot even if I wanted to. My character model was vibrating like they were jacked up on an energy drink, and for a good while I tried every sort of method I could think of to get unstuck. Crouching, standing up, running, nothing was working. In the meantime my teammates had cleared 3 gens, and curiously enough there had been no apparent run ins with the killer from what I could see on everyone’s status. Feeling like a burdensome leech at this point for not contributing to the team effort. Stuck as I was, escape was not an option. While getting hit by the killer might have even gotten me unstuck to some extent, the generators were in turn getting activated farther and farther from where I was. If the killer was anywhere, it would be over in that direction. I also hadn’t heard the Huntresses Lullaby of a killer radius in quite a while either, so while I happily would have given myself up for the kill if that meant 1.) My teammates were granted potential reprieve from the killer while I was being dealt with and 2.) The killer could at least get some blood points off of me as they still didn’t seem to have downed anyone yet. While there definitely might have been some solution to all this without having to do a dc, there really did NOT seem to be any other way out of it.
At the point tally screen where I obviously raked in zero (lmao), I hopped into spectator mode so I could at least mentally cheer on the others who were still in the game. First thing I saw was everyone already at the exit gate with the Huntress close behind. Either two generators had been completed during my brief time in the results screen or I had just lost track of gen progress throughout my time literally stuck on the sidelines. Regardless, as the killer wasn’t bothering to attack anyone and nobody seemed in panic from the close proximity, I figured everything had worked out well for everyone.
**Note to any game mods that come across this: I didn’t report any bugs in-game as it seemed to truly be a freak accident accompanied by my moody wi-fi that day. I have never encountered any other problems on that map or while playing in general.

Was playing a round at Forsaken Temple as Dwight with Myers as the killer. Last one alive with 3 gens still needed for the exit gate. I forget exactly why I was in the basement (not hooked) when who else but the killer walks in, so having just mentally given up at that point I just stand there in front of the hooks to await my fate. Killer obviously sees me at this point, as they walk up to me but don’t exactly do anything. They go up and down the stairs a few times without ever completely leaving. Upon coming back they make some attack stabs at empty air, but still not actually trying to hit me? They go over and start repeatedly stabbing a chest and so acting on the weird impression that they maybe want me to open it I dubiously go in to do so. Healed myself from an injured state with a med kit. They make a bunch of air stabs while going up the stairs, so I end up following the killer as air stabs seems to be their way of trying to direct my attention or something. A little less wary of them at this point, I continue following them all the way to the exit gate. Again they do the air stabs at the exit switch, but since there are still 3 gens to go I really can’t do anything about it even at their knife waving insistence.
Since there is an unfinished generator nearby, I go over and try to start fixing that up. At this point they straight up grab me, and thinking that they’ve maybe lost patience with me at this point. Like a sack of complacent potatoes, I didn’t give any fuss as they wander around the entirety of the map with me slung over their shoulder. I guess logically I could have tried to break free and make a run for it, but unnecessarily prolonging the round didn’t appeal much to me. Also, it would seem sort of rude as they had already passed on so many chances to kill me earlier; I thought if they suddenly decided they needed the blood points from sacrificing me then I was just going to let them have it. What ultimately happened was me getting dumped right in front of the hatch. As I safely exited, I silently thanked the merciful saint disguised within the skin of his deceased mother’s face.
I really wish I had been paying more attention at the score tallying screen, as I would have liked to have gotten their username. To this day, I’m still not certain if they decided to let me live because their dailies/objectives were taken care of - or if I was just in that pathetically pitiful of a predicament that killing me wouldn’t be worth it.

Wraith Main
Will play as Hag or Doctor on occasion
Just started using Spirit and enjoying her attack style so far
Other than that, I might shuffle through the others a bit at times if only to keep things interesting. Dailies or Tower Objectives are the only reason I’d use them in consecutive rounds though.

The Twins. Demon baby. Need I really say more-?

I know one time I was playing as Wraith and got absolutely wrecked by a flashlight holder in one round. I ended up dropping the survivors more than 7+ times that round because flashlight-pc was always just around the corner. I kept thinking that thing’s batteries would give out but NOPE. On a subsequent round with completely new players, I definitely got called out for tunneling one person in particular. I admit, I was maybe a bit more butt sore over it than I needed to be so to that player if they ever see this: I do apologize about that, my target of interest was that fiendishly undying flashlight of everburning agony you had.
I’ve gotten a lot better at avoiding the beam in general these days, so while the flashlight hate isn’t as strong I will still probably prioritize chasing after the flashlight holder if I come across a group of survivors. From a logical standpoint, it’s best to have the most potentially troublesome factors taken care of first.
