  According to the wiki, breaking pallets takes 2.6 seconds. So, with Brutal Strength, that becomes 2.1666 seconds. Let's imagine a survivor drops a safe pallet you need to break and holds W away. In the .4333 more seconds you would take breaking the pallet, the survivor would move an additional 1.7333m away from the killer. 115% movement speed killers move at 4.6 m/s and survivors move at 4 m/s, so killers gain .6m/s of distance on the survivor. Therefore, running Brutal Strength allows you to catch the survivor almost 3 seconds faster after breaking the pallet.

  I do think it's a useful perk and fairly well balanced. Especially as the game goes on and dead zones start appearing those 3 seconds can be the difference between getting a down and the survivor making it to the next loop.
