• Ironically I don't think I've wondered why survivors play selfishly for hatch. I mostly play killer, and the thing that perplexes me the most is actually survivors getting themselves killed trying to be altruistic. In nearly every game where 2 survivors are left and 1 gets hooked, the non-hooked survivor makes a beeline for the rescue often resulting in their own demise. In my head it's always been "second to last to get hooked dies", because I'm personally not throwing myself on the line in a situation where one of us is almost guaranteed to die.
