Getting into the 5th year since the game released and people still talk about looping? Oof

Those are not survivor mains, they are crybaby mains. And there are lots of them on both sides.

It would be a really bad game design if you could get banned for something that the game let's you and sometimes even kind of encourages you to do. Camping, tunneling, all that is not bannable. They're strategies just like any other, period. Something that survivors can't see and I never understood why. You can punish a killer for using those strategies but survivors are too entitled in general I guess. (I'm survivor main btw)

I find DH extremely easy to counter when I play killer. I never really thought it was more useful than other exhaustion perks.
About DS, I try to have a mind set of not using perks that require me to go down. I always try to not go down in the first place even if I fail, it's a mind set i try to go for. Also I don't really think a one time use in the entire game is a good thing in a perk.
Unbreakable falls in the same mindset as DS
BT I don't either like it or dislike it, I just prefer to use the slot on something else
BUT.. I do love adrenaline, wich is also a one time thing but it saved me during chases way to many times to ignore.
I usually change my builds a lot, but now that I notice, it's funny that those perks considered "meta" are the ones I never use. Except adrenaline. I love it too much xD

Interesting thoughts all around! I've put some of the ideias i though were interesting in the original post. i hope you don't mind. that way they won't get lost.

Do you really believe survivors here fear the killer, and the killer feels powerful?
lol yeah i know that meme. one could say i've been around for a while.
i guess you don't remember when you started playing this game. I do. I remember my heart beating faster when being chased for a longer time.
Do you get thick skinned? of course.

IMO, the fact that survivors can't fight back is what makes dbd undethronable (if that's even a word xD) every other asymmetric game that has come out has let survivors kill the killers and didn't thrive. The feeling of being powerless against the killer is what makes you fear it and its why dbd formula works so well.
EDIT:
Also, dbd actually started with 10k+ players on release and has been increasing as you can see here https://steamcharts.com/app/381210

Like others said, challenge him for a chase and you'll see if he's really camping or just looking for someone he thinks is nearby.
But if the killer says that he thought someone was there and you actually were. Does it really matter why he though it?
