wait people hate when players use urban evasion??? have people secretly hated me because i like to be a bit more subtle and not move at 0.01 miles per hour? it seems so innocuous what the hell

sometimes as survivor i wear the glow in the dark skeleton shirt even though it makes it impossible to hide in normally shadow covered locations. sometimes you just gotta make sacrifices for style.

I encountered this particular spot the other day which I think every single survivor tried to go through during a chase, because it looks like you should be able to go through it! And yet, no.

I don't mind the occasional AFK killer. Sometimes I'll get one after like, just having a bad run of games and having a guaranteed one is nice. Sometimes I've got a challenge that is way easier when the killer is a nonentity! Even better is when it's an AFK killer that like, attacks so I can still get some interaction points. (incidentally AFK blight is the worst because that's zero chase points AND zero altruism)
but then like, oh sometimes i have a healing challenge and that's off the table. Hope I didn't bring any good medkit add-ons to help me with that challenge. And of course, sometimes I just want to play the goddamn game. I have gotten multiple in a row before (tho not THAT frequently).
It's a nice break or assist sometimes but sometimes it's the last thing I want and y'know. There's obviously no control over it. You can't just have a button that says "give me a free win pls thx".
In conclusion, Debra Delight is a land of contrasts.

Boil Over. It's not that it's consistently useful even most of the time, but oh boy when somebody I swing five feet to the left and get caught on some geometry and have to figure out my new terrible controls I want to throw my computer out a window. And like, 90% of the time I still make it to the hook, even if it's one further away than the one it turns out is right in front of me, but it just makes me so mad for like no good reason.
I develop a personal vendetta against you if you run Boil Over. How dare you mildly inconvenience me.

I wasn't getting any progress on sacrificing to the Entity, which at first I just figured was maybe P-Head doesn't count it if they die in cage but then on Ghots Face it didn't either. I eventually deselected the challenge and reselected it again and I got progress on the challenge after the next match. Haven't had any progression issues since (except possibly ones related to the devout bug? unsure)

already mentioned plenty but coming in assuming bad faith on the part of detractors and actively insulting them is bad form BUT
I think a fake-out vault would make for a decent exhaustion(?) perk. Already have a fakeout locker perk with Deception after all.

Yeah so very specifically I think that it's an order of events thing. It's not a coincidence that it happened so often in end-game collapse. In the ones where somebody escaped and it still gave you -1 kill, it's probably because they left before the game marked the person on-hook as dead.
I think that the things at the end of the game happen in the following order
- Death animation happens.
- Player is marked as dead
- Game notes no survivors left in trial, ends game.
- Game would mark cause of death here and award points accordingly, but the game already ended so it doesn't do that.

Here's my log, having just finished a game as Nemesis where I did a test equipped with a Cypress Mori to see if changing up the final kill counted for credit, but it didn't. My end game Devout score only showed 60 points for sacrifices, and was missing the 20 for the mori kill. Seems that no matter the method of your last (fourth) kill, you don't get credit for it.

Okay this time it was on the farm. Not sure exactly which version.
20 points for the disconnect, 40 points for 2 sacrifices, and I think the last sacrifice is just getting not counted each time.

Yep, and again. Got it on the reroll so i couldn't re-reroll out of the broken daily. Save the Best for Last, Thrill of the Hunt, Jolt, Dying Light. Memorial Flower, Hair Bow addons. Saloon map. As if any of that matters since it seems pretty consistent.

Just had this problem yesterday. Did two Shape games and got no credit for any level ups. First map was Haddonfield, can't remember the second.
Perks: Save the Best for Last, Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, Jolt, Dying Light
Add-ons: Memorial Flower, Jewelry
Offering: Devout Spotted Owl Wreath
