Ghost face can bm in response.
I've been climbing from reset and also absence and I get games at rank 12ish with rank 1s in it. But I've seen a large down tick in bming honestly. But I've been running pig and I've had a great time.
-
See I think the goal was to pull a Jack Nicholson ala kool-aid man but it takes too long and they hear your heartbeat anyway do busting through a wall is just another ######### pallet that may screw me over. If it was a faster break I might be down but as it stands, lackluster at best.
-
This reminds me of afk myers. Except at the end everyone gets mori'd.
-
Knock out on pig says the world is my hook. Spend another 30 seconds on chase 2 while I wait for that first gen to trigger my trap card.
-
I get a few reds in my greens (just after reset everything is screwy), but I don't have much trouble dealing with them. I'm having more fun and less toxic matches. There are some but rare. This makes things more fun.
-
As pig I try to leave a survivor with an active trap at the end. If they beat their trap they get to go. If not I get to watch them pop.
But do survivors really not like mercy? I usually only do it if they play when people quit on their team but it sounds like some people don't want mercy.
-
Not really out though. Remember, basement hooks are permanent and indestructible. I still get the team that likes to body block and sabotage hooks. So I just drag them to the basement. Why waste my time trying to find unbroken hooks.

I HATE fnaf. It is the horror equivalent of fortnight; something children have latched onto and think it represents what that genre of game should be and generates a ######### fanbase around it. A good horror game is silent hill 2 one they brought to this game. A game that not only has a huge fan following but for a good reason not "because some youtuber played it and wet their pants so kids love it". It genuinely makes you feel alone, crushing you under it's atmosphere.
Do horror franchises get stupid? Yeah. They put Jason in space. But that's kinda what happens when a franchise goes on for a while. It's why Scream happened (another killer we have, though they were kinda coy about it for a while). Traditional horror is often things that genuinely scare us. Not startle us. Freddy is scary because you can't avoid sleep forever. Jason is scary cause the dude is a juggernaut. Myers is scary because all he wants to do is kill you. Pyramid Head is scary because while he was specifically James' toxic masculinity come back to punish and kill him, he now functions as a extension of the fog in silent hill torturing you for being a ######### person. Saw was less scary but more about the tension. You are given an adequate ability to actually escape but your own human nature is what will ultimately hold you back and fail you.
Tl;dr
Fear is not being startled. And that's all fnaf is. A jack in the box that yells at you.

I only farm if it's really early and two people rage quit. It's rare but often I see it as, the game is screwed and no one is really going to have fun at this point so let's just make nice and get something out of it. Surrender games are dumb and boring and I really get nothing out of it. I've even had games where I get 2-3 close hooks and they all suicide on hook so I spend the next 5 minutes(though one guy took me 15 hiding in a locker) to drag the last guy to the hatch.
-
I've been using knock out, franklin, bbq, infectious fright on pig and doing well. Drop a guy, rbt them leave em slugged while I go for the person who screamed. I often get them so disorganized that I even have time to play around with people who have activated traps on. Cause they expect me to chase them but I just crouch and let them burn their timer lol. Plus adding pressure to heal or retrieve items or deal with traps really screws with their planning. Do I 4k reliably? No. Is it fun? Very.

Ruin is by still a band-aid perk that really should be built into the game mechanics. It only helps to mitigate a cancerous issue the game has struggled with for a very long time. I'm lucky if I get a down before first gen. I'm absolutely blessed in the next two don't pop immediately after. Gen rushing is bad and blah blah blah. We all know it won't change so deal with our band aid perks. Though tbh I haven't used ruin in ages. Pgtw is my preferred slowdown.

Legion always felt to me like an incomplete killer. Like picture plague without her patent ink spray or Pyramid Head without the Cages of Atonement. They still work, but you always feel like something is missing. I think the best way to fix Legion would be to add some sort of element reflecting the multi-person nature of the killer, like being able to switch positions in the map. Like picture you get hit by feral frenzy, you see the legion run off so you go to mend but before you finish, another member of the legion shows up and stabs your kidneys. I am not sure how to balance it, but I think they need some spicing up with a new power.
I like that idea and given the multi-timeline nature of the Trials, you could essential have 3 ghost legions running around on the map not actually doing anything. And the legion in your trial can basically tag in/out with the other three wherever they are on the map. Increasing pressure greatly but providing some counterplay as you can still see the "ghosts" running around.

I'd totally be down for Sadako. Just give her randomly spawned tvs for quick traversal on the map and a slowly stacking line of site within range effect and she basically plays a stall game that tells survivors not to stare at her too long lest you get debuffed like hell and maybe a Mori at max. Like reverse stalking.
-
Ground up rework. There story is about teamwork and friendship and murder and their gameplay is "gotta go fast".
-
No I get that it benefits me (sometimes) but that's the problem. Getting free hits when it should be a stun and nothing else kinda ruins the fun.
-
I totally understand where you are coming from. PH is a beast on his home turf and almost always grants me a 4k there but I think this is kind of the point. The Entity tailors each hunting ground to a particular killer. The goal is to create and snuff out hope. Therefore the killer should be strong in the place it made for them. The struggle of weird territory is also I feel part of what makes sense lore wise. A sort of "fish out of water" scenario. They struggle to adapt, or function as an invasive species and curb stomp people. Look at myers. Haddon field is built for stalking but jump scare myers is terrifying in the hospital.
Improvise, adapt, overcome.

See I give hatch to a survivor that tries to play even if everyone gives up. I like that persistence and feel that if you are willing to keep playing when the chips are down you should be rewarded. Especially if the other 3 played like potatoes. That's no fun for anyone so if the last guy doesn't quit he gets hatch. Even if I have to hunt across the map to find his ass

After he came out I played the carp out of him. The info you got from his power was great. Cage a survivor? Cool. I'll chase another guy so I know only one survivor is on gens. Mori at the end? Dope. I hate DSing at the end for a free escape. The toxic build revolves around hooking? Awesome. I basically don't have to spend the entire game getting tbagged and clicked at by a bunch of people who would rather play easy mode. Was he nurse tier? Hell no. Spirit? Nah. Bubba brain dead? Nope. But anti-meta is his niche. He was a shelter from the oppressive meta killers have had to live under for years. NOED, devour hope, moon walking bloodhound legion, tunneling. It was killers trying to compete with a system that made the game less fun and bred entitled survivors. PH was our chance to make them respect killers again.
As for a change to his ranged, I saw a few mentions of it but yeah, area denial. Keep the wave up to block a path (3 seconds, nothing crazy). Swap the damage for torment trigger (if you HAVE to).
-
All jokes aside, as. PH main stop running around like crazy. We really only need you to get tormented once because then it just subtracts one hook from your death count. Most of us do not really care to use cages as the are unreliable so we really only use them for slugging strays or for the last two survivors.
-
Just wanna throw my two cents in and say we kinda do have a killer who lore-wise is on the fence. Susie of Legion. I think it'd actually be kinda cool to see a future shifted version of her that breaks free from the peer pressure and joins the survivors. Even talent wise I can see her bringing useful killer skills to the table.
-
Pre murder spree legion might be fun. It'll really freak people out using data devotion. "Oh it's a teammate...wait chase music?!"*stab*
-
Shout out the the mic'd swf that had maxed out everything with a flashlight, key, map, med kit and burned 3 petrified oaks on me. You are the reason I'm gonna spend the handful of ebony moris I have in the next few games.
I enjoy this game but when people pull that kinda stuff it's just not fun. Survivors complain about their que times but what do you expect when you treat the other players like this? Like I'll happily carry a survivor to hatch after a good game or even farm points with survivors when 2 people dc. But I swear some people are just toxic
-
Hold on I think I know what'll make the survivors happy. Killer shouldn't see hooks and be Auto blinded when near them so he can't tunnel. Please. The cages are really only useful for end game and if you can't beat PH to a cage, I'm sorry but maybe you need to adjust priorities. I've played him exclusively since he came out and cages are terrible options for him as he get no perk bonuses out of them for a free unhook for the survivors. I'd rather save the cage for the last 2 survivors or just mini Mori them as I go. He already gets kneecapped by sending the survivors to Timbuktu. You don't need any more hand holding. Any time a killer has teeth or is a credible threat to the Meta, they need to be nerfed. It's 4v1. Our time has to be properly managed to beat you guys already and a few bad loops will easily cost us. But as it stands, you can end the game in 3 minutes and spend another 2 minutes clicking flashlights and teabagging. Also, though I strictly avoid it out of trying to not be toxic and kill people's fun, tunneling is perfectly acceptable game play. It's not nice, but it is allowed. Just like body blocking, and trolling, and all the other things survivors do. If someone wants to waste time getting 1k let them. 3 others escape.
-
Been a killer main since i started playing and I gotta say he isn't strong. He has no major benefit during a chase and his ranged attack is pretty easy to dodge. You basically HAVE to wait for an animation lock to hit it. But. I haven't had this much fun with a killer in a while. He rewards planning and is really good at punishing reckless survivors. His cages I've found to be pretty weak because I maybe have a person in there 30 seconds before they get rescued. I think the free micro Mori is a nice touch but once again its punishing survivors who play reckless. I think for a looong time the Meta survivor perks let people get away with clumsy plays and now a killer has come out that really puts pressure on the survivors to make good choices. Do I think a stealth focused build will beat him? ABSOLUTELY. But if you run around like a headless chicken, relying on second chance perks that have dominated the survivor meta, you are gonna get caged and eventually mori'd which I think is a nice change. This is what happens when an anti-meta character shows up.
-
Oooh here we go. *Cracks knuckles* gotta make sure I do this right. Let's see......*gets up and stretches a bit* hmmmm....if it isn't a bannable offense then it's fine. People are naturally toxic. But when killers have their own complaints that survivors tell them to ignore, you can easily expect to get the same reply.
-
Considering the game is based on horror movies like Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the ways to win should match the theme. Even though survivor mains feel its "toxic to slug for 4k" it isn't. If a killer is hunting 4 entitled teens, and has two right there, it's only logical to chase the one that runs after the 3 goes down. Dcing is a bannable offense and should not be a legitimate strategy to win. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't actually care to play fair. Tbh I think DC's she just leave the character model standing there so the killer gets a free hook. Remaining survivors can get points off the quitter too. As a killer I'd be more than happy to harvest points from a quitter with the survivors. I might even fake chase them if it wouldn't cost me gens.
