It's mostly a pity escape in my opinion. If you are looking for the hatch, your team lost, and you should be punished for not finding it first. Before I didn't mind survivors getting the hatch because you at least had to do some gens for it to spawn.

    It's called left behind.

Just looked it up on the Wiki. Hadn't even played as Bill or explored his Perks yet. I'll use it by using him and see if it helps. Thanks!

  • I prefer playing as Ghostface. As a Survivor, I prefer going against Ghostface.

I suck at playing as The Legion. I suck at playing against The Legion.

Ghostface is actually very easy to escape from if you're patient and aware. I'm sure the same can be said for most Killers, but players who play as Ghostface like to crouch and try to hone in on his abilities, which ultimately slows them down and gives me more time to react and spot him. Playing as Ghostface, I never use the crouch function.

I've escaped a lot of the matches with Ghostface, I still have yet to escape from a match that involves The Legion.

  • Don't get yourself in a position where you can be blocked? Playing as a Killer, Survivors have blocked me from hooking other Survivors. In that time period, I was able to down another while the one I was carrying was able to escape from me. At which point, I was able to hook the one who was blocking me instead.

If used correctly, it can be an effective strategy, especially during the Endgame Collapse. It's not something I can be mad at. Often times, it's just another Survivor trying to help and getting themselves sacrificed in the process.

I've never gotten into a situation as a Survivor where I was being purposefully blocked by a Killer. There is a huge difference between being blocked and simply cornered.

  • It happens to me after a couple of hours of playing. Restarting my console makes it stop.

  • I think it would be more beneficial if the aura of the Hatch was shown to the Survivor for a few seconds after the second to last Survivor is killed or sacrificed. At least now the Survivor will have an actual chance of getting there first.

I'm still a relatively new player, I've only been playing for about two months now and I still have yet to make it to the Hatch whenever I'm the last Survivor left.

  • Chucky from Child's Play will not work. He's way too short; same with the Leprechaun. Do you really think you have a chance playing as him in Coldwind Farm or Backwater Swamp? And don't even get me started with Yamaoka Estate!

How about The Nun from the Conjuring franchise? I'd like for there to be a Killer that's totally paranormal, which The Nun would work well as.

The Nun's Perks could be Manifestation, Possession & Shadow-Walking.

Manifestation: The Nun projects an image of herself walking close to the furthest three generators along with her Terror Radius at the start of the match. The length of the projection and Terror Radius increases with the level.

Possession: After striking the Obsession, all of the Obsession's abilities are of regression. Any repairs done on a Generator will actually undo any progress made to the Generator and damage it. The regression will not be shown to the Obsession and it will appear as if the Generator is being repaired. Attempting to heal other Survivors puts them in the dying state, if they aren't already. No progress will be made in any attempt to heal another Survivor in the dying state. Searching a Chest will use up all of the charges of any item that is in the Chest. Similar to how The Plague's Vile Purge works, the Obsession will have to find a pool of Holy Water. The first strike to the Obsession does not cause any damage, only Possession. There is no indicator for the Obsession that they've been hit or possessed for the first strike and will not be granted a short burst of speed after the hit. The Nun will hear the sound of the hit. Other Survivors in the map will hear The Entity whispering after the Obsession has been possessed.

Shadow-Walking: After being stunned by three pallets, grants the ability to walk through the next and every one thereafter. The Nun doesn't have to perform vaults. She walks through all vault locations. Cooldown periods are involved.

  • I find Ruin adding an added element to the game, honestly. I've had to play against Killers who've used it, and I've used it as a Killer. The Totem is usually found within the first three minutes of playing, I've noticed. On the rare occasion, the Totem will remain untouched well into the match.

It can be frustrating when you're against a really good Killer, but at the end of the day it's just all about having skill as both a Survivor and a Killer. It's not the Totem that will break a match, it's the laziness of the Survivors that are in the match. Find the Totem and break the Hex.
