• I personally think it's a Ancestor and he's upset that Runs father ended the bloodline by killing Rin

  I would also like it to be Rin as a survivor to show that the entity can pull out killers before they were chosen to be killers and Rin would be a fine example plus the ancestor might blame this on Rin for letting herself become the spirit instead of dying a honorable death
