I've seen somewhere that it symbolises the chaos she feels inside, like the way she dresses is super clean but her mind is "twisted" and the earring's random shape may symbolize that

Well, I have done an adept too with add-ons and addonless later on. It seems there's a bug with the addons and you need to use it addonless now to bypass it.
