  • Considering my last ttv username was a snipped group where the streamer's chat had a jerk from one of my discord servers following him and told him to kill me as he proceeded to work with the killer to do just that (legitimately let himself get downed so he could see my aura and direct the killer to me when I hadn't been hooked) - I'd have to say I'm firmly in the "stream with a dedicated group or ######### off and stop ruining other peoples games for your follwer count" party

When you get toxic survivors you create toxic killers. With toxic killers you then create toxic survivors. It is a really fun never ending loop.

This. This is how it all boils down. You have decide to not be toxic and then stick to that regardless of how bad the others get (either side) no "revenge", no "just that player" or you become just another jerk.

I play both sides so sympathy to both.

OP- totally valid in your decision to not participate in the BS, shame on the killers for being jerks, i resent that from both killer and survivor perspective cause no reason to be playing with someone like that, "extra bp" is a ######### excuse for feeling big from faking friendly. And faking the friendly does nothing but lead to paranoid survivors and makes it hard to farm or play nice for those of us who do!

Kudos to the killers here who have decent charade skills to communicate with survivors and survivors who don't panic at the first hint of a heartbeat or figure out that they aren't being chased.

  • This. Its sad that the community on a whole is very much incapable of playing an engaging (if buggy) game because people are to aggressively caught up in their idea of "win" like, "git gud" applies to both sides and the perks that exist, with a player base that wasnt stupidly hostile, would make for great games. Like the glitched hooks is a great example- as a survior, killers have moved to where your hooked? STOP WIGGLING . But no, you know there's a chance its gltiched and you can get free. And don't give me BS about "i might have made that without the glitch". As a killer? The prior pride rock glitch? You see a trapped survivor, you knock them down and free and GET THEM UP. And teams who see this? Give the killer a couple seconds pause on the gens to be fair. You can't demand "fair play" from oneside without giving the same courtesy. And for the love of the entity the vicious "all killers camp/tunnel me so I'm gonna camp/tunnel too!!" Is the absolute most bs load of idiocy. Quit it.

  • Thank gods.

and exactly, like everyone is saying- their data collection isnt going to be case by case basis. Even if your rank is time online (which is arguable because if you are really bad at the game you will depip as frequently as you pip) there is a level of knowledge there. And with a system that uses collected data, its super likely to have a percentile factor involved for matchmaking. But someone who has 1000+ hrs vs 100, even if their percentiles are the same- there is a NOTICEABLE skill difference and it only gets worse because of the bad matches making the percents worse.

  • i have faced and had on my teams more tunneling/camping killers and "sneak around the edges" variety survivor's with "first played 10 days ago" in the last few days then I did even when *I* was 10 days in- this extremely frustrating and exhausting. Fix it or go back to the way it was.
