Pretty much any perk that made stealth gameplay viable, especially with all the aura reading perks. 😆 also, COB and eruption.

No they don't seem to do much anymore. I don't know why they didnt just remove them altogether. At least it would free up the blood web and I wouldn't have to waste points on them.

He is still able to hit through walls, too. I'm not surprised so many people just go next when facing him. Every single time I hear his chase music at the beginning of a match, at least two of my teammates become bots immediately 😆.

Sadly, most of my buds dropped the game last year. So, if I play I only have solo q option, which is crap. Ive pretty much dropped survivor games due to the constant slugging. I enjoy playing Micheal. His changes are actually fun in my opinion. I'm probably going to just play Micheal when I get the itch to play dbd. I'll probably only do that until the new Halloween game comes out next year.

I mainly play survivor, but I do enjoy playing killer at times. I think base kit corrupt is a great idea. Nine times out of ten killers run this perk in my survivor matches anyway, and it does help killers effectively monitor gens while locating survivors at the beginning of the match. I think this kind of general gen slow down is needed for killers and shouldn't have to take up a perk slot. When I play killer (mainly Mikey) I have to run it every time otherwise gens pop too fast. I think corrupt base kit would be great with the upcoming base kit mini BBQ and pop.
I like a lot of the upcoming ptb changes, but I do think some of the values need tweaking. For one, the 6 hook requirement for killer shouldn't be so high. 4 or 5 maybe....but 6 is a little excessive. I also think the system shouldn't punish killers if they hook the last unhooked survivor if he/she does something like running into trappers trap (which i do all the time 😆).
Anyway, I think base kit corrupt for killers is a good idea. 😏

I like the update for the most part. They may need to tweak numbers, but I like it. However, I thought about the change you suggested, too. I think that perk is definitely something that should be basekit

Not working for me. The normal game mode isn't finding a match either. I even tried a custom bot match and just get a message saying "looking for server".

Yeah, I gave up trying and just went back to the normal game mode. Long wait time there too unfortunately.

I'm still having the exact same issue. I never had this issue before twd update. I don't have problems playing any other game online, and I've never had this issue in dbd before twd update. It really makes the game unplayable.

Yep. Still having this issue on ps5. Every game lags and rubberbands . Never had this issue before twd update, and I don't have issues playing any other game online. Its making dbd unplayable.

Survivor gameplay has been practically the same for the last 7 years, the only new thing that was added was boons... wow.
Playing dead by daylight feels like a toxic relationship (for me) I want to quit but I still come back from time to time to check in and I'm just disappointed every time.
Looping is a thing of the past, half the new killers can hit you through them. Flashlights have been nerfed, med kits can't even fully heal you anymore, (edit, I meant to say that medkits heal slower now than before) a toolbox last 5 secs. Meanwhile killers have endless tracking perks and counters. Fine looping was crazy back in the day but that was a survivors only way to stay alive and buy time. The maps are smaller and killers have more tracking perks.. make it make sense.
This game desperately needs new game modes or fun casual modes where people aren't so sweaty and have some variety for BOTH killer and survivor. The game is great and exciting when you first get into it and that's what reels people in, but at some point most people will hit a wall and the game just becomes boring and repetitive. (On the survivor's side at least)
I'm don't think the devs really care, because if old players quit they will just be replaced with new ones and the cycle continues. So why bother improve when you have the formula?
I agree. I've gotten to where I never buy new survivors. I used to buy the ones with good or useful perks, but I stopped. Every time I buy a survivor for their perks, the devs nerf those perks to the point they are useless. So, I definitely stopped using real money to buy anything in this game.

Completely agree. I really hope they add bot options to custom game mode. It would be great to be able to hop on and play a quick game when I don't have a lot of time. It would also be nice to practice new killers without having to tolerate whining messages from toxic crybabies at the end of the match :).

I would love the ability to put bots in a custom game when my friends aren't on or I don't have a lot of time. It would be fun to play as any killer against the bots. It also wouldn't hurt to do this when I just want to have fun without getting whining messages from toxic crybabies at the end of the match.
