  • Update: I tried out some earbuds that had directional sound, and it was a massive improvement. Being able to hear whether the survivor is to the left or right can help to locate them much more effectively, and it is much easier to come out of the phasewalk close to the survivor. (The earbuds I used also defaulted to a much louder volume, so that might have played a part as well).
