Your explanation does make sense though. I hope a dev could explain this to us with details?
I'm unsure if the developers of this game want to share detailed information but trying never hurts.

I can confirm. This is also happening in the store menu. PS5 Digital platform.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
loaded into a game where nemesis has invisible zombies seemingly. the guy said he knew about it and that it was due to his addons which were: tyrant gore and depleted ink ribbon.
the player said that he had to kill the zombies first and then they become invisible when they respawn. nemesis also cannot see the zombies or their auras but he still has collision with them.
PLATFORM: steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
on greenville against a nemesis using the tyrant gore and the depleated ink ribbon addons.

PLAYER LOGS:
- Player logs are required from PC players only.
This is caused by combining two add-ons: Depleted Ink Ribbon & Tyrant Gore. The invisible zombies can only happen if The Nemesis kills them and is using these add-ons.
Survivors that kill the invisible zombies become visible again.
I'm not sure what's causing this but I assume it's because of the short respawn timer due to the combined add-ons and The Nemesis killing the zombie. When a survivor kills a zombie then the zombie's respawn timer is increased thus returning to normal.

I noticed it in RPD too. If you look at the map layout below, the generator is located in the upper right corner of the Operations Room. At the right wall of that room, there is a hole. When the zombie detected me through that hole, the zombie also does his breakdancing session when I was repairing that generator. I repaired the generator in peace while the zombie was bugging out.
Could it be that the zombies have a faulty detection system?
I think it's a mix of how the zombie detection is programmed and the map tile or generator collision. If you notice the props in-game such as this tree or generator you see in the video of the Temple of Purgation, this zombie detects the survivor but at the same time it doesn't so it's in the middle of "Should I chase this survivor or should I continue to investigate or patrol?" that's where the code chooses both actions.
Same thing with the giant holes in RPD or Midwich. Like the zombie 'sees' the survivor but a pixel of static meshes is in the way so it can't really see them. That's my assumption anyway.

You're a king for reporting all these bugs bro. Also your bug reports made me giggle.
I'd appreciate the kind words. Thank you. I was reporting so many zombie bugs that I basically got tired of writing the same thing so I spiced it up for the readers out there.
