I agree with rororoxor and believe that the stalk zone is a detriment to high level ghostface players.
The new music should be changed also. The distant music is great, just that the chase music seems a little too repetitive.

I agree with OP and a few other people: Spine chill needs some range adjustment.
Simple fact that you can't moonwalk stalk someone and as soon as someone sees spine chill light up for more than 1 second they bounce.
If you get 3 people using spine chill, which isnt that rare because of how popular the vault build is, it can be really tough to get some good stalks on people at the start of matches. (DS, Unbreakable, Spine Chill, Sprint Burst, GL friendo)
Ghostface has a 4m grace period where he can stalk without triggering spine chill. But stalking someone from 40m away is often times difficult and depends on map, LoS. Stalking people from 24-32m away though? Not too difficult. Spine chill range should be somewhere in the 20's. 24m sounds fair.
That gives Ghostface 16m of grace (40m stalk range) which is workable especially at the start of the match when survivors are typically far away(around 36-40m away).
I think the idea of having to moonwalk everywhere you go once you catch on to a spine chill is a dumb "outplay". But since thats the counter, 24m away you could moonwalk for roughly 10m then go back to looking at them, afterwards the survivor will see spine chill again and think you're still quite far away, 1-2 seconds pass with spine chill still on and they still will start running. By that time, the gap is close enough that the survivor will see you anyway unless they in jungle gym. Moonwalking for 10m is better than moonwalking for 20m with the 36m spine chill.
I think spine chill shouldnt even work on undetectable killers but thats just IMO. It should be a perk that is used in conjunction with the TR to help survivors be certain that the killer really is coming for them and not in a chase with someone and prevent survivors panicking when they hear the TR.

Im a Ghostface main and by playing just him, I got to rank 1 killer and stayed there. He's fine as he is just need to properly learn to play him. Yeah some games you get wrecked because the survivors are efficient but that happens to every killer.

Would corrupt intervention and thrilling tremors be good instead of ruin? Im a red rank killer main (rank 3 currently) who mainly plays Ghostface and Myers (my spirit is still level 1 so go figure) and sometimes my 1st chase i am usually punished with a gen being popped for someones 1st hook.
Would those 2 perks work well? Corrupt means you can go to the right gens are the start of the map chase people off the gens then once you down someone you can see which one they are working on with thrilling so you know exactly where to apply map pressure?
And yes, I do use ruin but it tends to be gone in less than 2 minutes of the game (corrupt intervention lasts 2 minutes).
I know its 2 perk slots but it's 2 guaranteed perks that will work and thrilling tremors provides good information.

I used make your choice and was able to get some downs from it and I was called a camper tunneler. It's literally one of the most anti-camp anti tunnel perks in the game

I use or I would use(because game rng isn't giving me BBQ at P3 level 50):
BBQ, Ruin, Nurses, Make Your Choice.
Currently using Discordance until I get BBQ, will sometimes use whispers instead. Make your choice is really good on Ghostface since you can sneak up on them because sometimes you don't have time to stalk them. I really want BBQ on my Ghostface again (I got it 3 times in a row at prestige 2) because I play him allot and want double bloodpoints.

Exposing someone as Ghostface or Myers
-
I did some testing and.. they do stack! The results were: 16.20 seconds recovery time when both addons were used and 22.22 seconds when just the Chewed Pen(Green) was used. I may have been out a few milliseconds but the difference was obvious.
-
I main:
Michael Myers (BBQ, Ruin, Monitor and Abuse, Infectious Fright)
Ghostface (BBQ, Ruin, Nurses, Make Your Choice)
Legion (BBQ, Ruin, Bamboozle, Thanatophobia)
-
There are more survivor perks that carry survivors than killer perks that carry killers.
-
I despised being Gen Rushed so. If Im playing trapper and im setting up traps one or two gens get done by the time im done. I use ruin because I want to be able to use my power.
Hillbilly doesn't need ruin but killer's like Myers (especially in tier 1) need ruin so they can actually find someone and get something going before gens are popped.
I dont want to run ruin but gens get done so fast if you're just an M1 killer with no mobility. I can be in my 1st chase (if ruin is gone) and by the end of it 3 gens will be done.
We use ruin because we want to actually play the game for a substantial amount of time and not have it be over in 5 minutes. Killer's have such a long queue times I think that we are allowed to try and make the game last longer
-
My main is Myers. He is prestige 3 level 50 and has pretty much all of the perks I need to just play him to get BP's. The only problem with that is I will run out of add ons for him.
I could just play survivor with WGLF and Prove thyself but I prefer killer
-
I mean that happens, I play survivor with Adrenaline and usually it's useless apart from when it's not. NC and Ruin are both good perks, NC might not be useful every game but since Self Care is so common, it's good.
@CptPlanet said:
The popular opinion will probably be Ruin.
I personally would get Nurses, but I do not use Ruin very often cause I hate how inconsistent it is. Most killers also don't NEED it, and it just feels terrible when it gets broken right away and you are then playing the game with only 3 perks.

Myers
I love him from the movies and he is fun in game just to T3 people when they dont expect it.
Also my friends call me an observer which reminds me of Myers phahaha.
Oh and did I mention Moonwalk?

About the Prestige thing, there will be a lot different opinions.
Mine is, it's not worth at all. Specially on Myers since I'm not impressed with the bloody cosmetics you get as rewards. Maybe Leatherface looks real cool all bloody. But other than that, it's just a HUGE, ENORMOUS time consuming task. Especially if you plan to play other characters too.
But there will be people saying it's all worth it. So on that one, it's all up to you to decide.
So Im leveling Myers currently to get BBQ, level 13 currently I believe, once I got BBQ on Myers I will play him allot to get the BP for: Sprint Burst, Self Care, WGLF and not sure for the other perk.
Then I will level up doctor for M&A (I could do I now as I have doctor but I do want to play some survivor sometimes xd). I have allot to get over this double BP weekend

If I could start over again, I'd make different decisions to prevent an excessive grind.
This is only my opinion and by no means I'm the holder of the absolute truth.
Yes, I'd play Leatherface first, both to profit from BBQ and to get it as a teachable. But here's the spin: DON'T unlock other teachables which will only clutter the bloodweb and make you waste millions of bloodpoints in the long run.
If you're lucky, you'll get both BBQ III and the teachable right at level 35. If not, keep playing until you get both. But remember, don't unlock other teachables.
Then, if the intention is playing Myers with a strong build (and keep some flexibility), I'd level the next characters for certain perks, playing as Leatherface and Doctor (with BBQ):
"Mandatory perks"
Doctor ------> M&A, hands down the best perk for Myers
Trapper ----> Agitation, you'll save a lot of time while carrying and will always find a hook
Nurse ------> Nurse's Calling, extra benefit from M&A
"Strong perks, real good"
Spirit --------> Spirit Fury
Billy ------> Enduring, coupled with spirit fury, you'll eat pallets and ask for seconds
"Good perks, not essential"
Clown -------> Bamboozle, extra benefit at Evil Within III
Trapper -------> Brutal Strength, for the ultimate pallet eater build
I don't use Hex: Ruin, but arguably you should also get it from the Hag
And remember to never unlock any other teachable. Even only unlocking these perks I mentioned will already need around 7 - 8 million bloodpoints. But getting them to tier III in Myers will take another 3 - 4 million if you have good luck.
If you make the mistake of unlocking other perks, it could take you 150 bloodweb levels (or many more) just to get BBQ III, for example. That's a lot of wasted time and points in perks you'll never use.
I have played Myers at R1 successfully with this simple build:
BBQ, Agitation, M&A, NC
coupled with Dead Rabbit and J. Myers Memorial as add-ons
With this build, I've only struggled against strong coordinated teams. But the same happens to all the killers (except 2 or 3) so, anyway.
Hope this helps.
I got my LF to level 35 and bought teachable BBQ. Will it appear in Myer's tree at a lower level? (Like uncommon)

@InFernoZ22 If you care about lvl effently rather than actually going for BPs and such...Theres a video tutorial for that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3r_a9QqYTY
THE TLDR of the video is to make a beeline for a perk with each new bloodweb right away to start the entity removing stuff as early as possible. From there, try to set it up so the entity will take multiple items in 1 turn and you use your BPs on the cheapest items you can.
Will do, thank you, yh I dont plan on playing Leatherface so I will go the cheapest way.

Yeah I have doctor so I can get M&A for Myers too. I also hear doctor with BBQ is good for BP's.

As I understand, as Killer, you get much more bloodpoints, just play Leatherface up until you unlock his teachable, you don't gotta play him after you get Barbecue, I personally like him but he's a little weak. Once you get Barbecue, go back to Myers and try to get it and level it for Myers, best I can say. Myers is strong, I recommend getting Bamboozle from Clown or Monitor and Abuse from Doctor for Myers, use shards for teachables in the store.

Playing killer with BBQ is definitely the best source of BPs if you can do well with the killer. So you have the right idea. Playing Leatherface and using BBQ while you unlock it as a teachable would definitely be your best choice if you are able to do well with him.
As for spreading or focusing the points.... it's really up to you. When I was first starting out I spread my points out to get the teachables from each character I wanted. Then started dumping the points into the killer I main to get all the perks. Alternatively you could focus the points, but if you don't have any perks you are trying to get you are essentially just spending BPs on them for addons at that point. You can also unlock perks from the Shrine of Secrets each week so if you wanted to try and get lucky on a perk showing up in there you want you can just wait for that to happen as well.
It's good to know I have the right idea, I don't mind playing Leatherface for the bonus BP's but it just takes a while to find a match.
