  • I could really care less about such things in video games and I think it's dumb to make a big deal out of it. Some things should be kept unknown and the person playing that character is more than welcome to believe, to them, they are what they are. Instead you're forcefully taking what some people may already do and forcing them to accept their favorite character is this, or is that, and all of their cosmetics in the future become heavily based around it for all we know.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish this type of political garbage was left out of a platform that it has no real reason in being in outside of pleasing groups of people. In my experience the people who complain about there being a lack of, say, LGBT things in a video game, are the same type of people who are the kind of people that give LGBT people a bad name. They're the kind of people who force their opinions and beliefs onto you but then hate when you do it to them. And they're the kind of people who say "Bisexual is fine, if you're with someone of the same sex, not opposite." This type of behavior only leads to more problems and more divide.

Just my opinion, as I have experience with that community. See, Blizzard did the same thing as this, and guess what? Like every company who says they support this type of thing, it's all just for money. They don't support you at all, they support your money. Look at us, we're inclusive, play our game.

  • Freddy isn't OP, he has what every killer should have or have more of. It's just that, well, his slow power is boring to play against. However, there's very little effort involved in what Freddy does, whereas other killers, say Wraith, who HAS to have Windstorm addons for map pressure and has to use his invisibilty and speed in invis to block pallets/vaults requires far more knowledge and skill, yet he's not even close to Freddy's strength.

It always amazes me how little actual balance goes into a lot of killers/survivors. I wish there were more adjustments like the Clown change from PTB, but the devs are too afraid to change anything.

  • I love when I hit m1 and my m1 doesn't work so I miss my swing.

What happened to you is rare and I'm sure you can afford/deal with a 5 minute penalty. It happened doesn't justify your baby rage but this game is riddled with countless unfixed bugs so you'd do well to become numb to it.

Probably cause the fact some perks hard counter certain killers for example small game/object of obsession vs trapper so if you know you're going against a trapper you can make the game alot easier for yourself by bringing those perks, Got a hag? Everyone bring flashlights, its a spirit? dodge the lobby, a nurse? dodge the lobby, Bubba? Lets put in lery offerings so its harder to chainsaw people you see my point?

Not to mention there's nothing stopping a killer from last second switching to another killer after the survivors prepared for another one, so even that wouldn't make much sense.

See, most killers dodge SWF. As a survivor I have several people I remember that I've blacklisted and will dodge when i play survivor because they're horrible teammates in the toxic kind of way.

What survivors would do with this information is use it to constantly dodge and only play against killers they know aren't experieced, don't have a lot of hours, are playing an easy killer to fight. It's far more easily abused as a survivor if the information a killer has is given to them, but just like many things in this community people are only capable of comparing things to other things. Dur, if killers can do this, why cant I do that! And 3 pages in of explaining why people still can't seem to grasp or accept it.

  • TTV players are usually either bad or they spend more time playing chill and talking to their chat. You're more likely to run into toxic streamers that don't have TTV in their name that are sweaty than you are with someone with TTV in their name. In fact, someone actively advertising themselves with TTV in their name would be doing themselves no favors by playing that way, especially since the only person who is really going to be aware of any skill you have is the killer.

Though, the truth of people with their Twitch in their name they have a hard time accepting is it very rarely will garner you any meaningful, long time viewers.

  • How about instead of doing that, you don't speed up the queues and reduce the punishment on people who actively go around ruining the game experience for 4 other people?

That makes sense in a game that has tons of players, or has backfill, or has many other things.

You're more than welcome to put people who consistently DC into a huge pool and make them play together for 10 games, though - even if their DC penalty is up. I'm sure you'd be fine with that, right?

  • I very rarely run into camping/tunneling killers at red ranks, though it does happen now and then and BT usually does its job enough to let me go back to looping anyway.

You're very likely to run into people who do that at lower ranks as a survivor because of inexperienced killers. And yes, while killers who play like that are the reason perks like DS/BT are meta, the reality is the speed at which gens can go generally forces a killers hand to do so if they have any interest in doing well at times. So, it isn't just a product of scumbag killers, although more often it is because of bad killers. You'll generally find REALLY good survivors won't run any super meta perks outside of maybe BT, because they're very confident in their ability to loop.

  • It's nice how they'll introduce perks that counter super meta perks like Pop, or Hex's like Ruin, yet there hasn't been a single thing since pre-DS effecting Enduring that countered that busted perk :)

Of course I don't really see this perk being meta, it's pretty situational, and irrelevant anyway.

  • I think your biggest mistake is using rank and ranking up as the baseline for everything. It is just a lot more difficult to rank up as a killer IF you don't do a lot of everything, and do it well.
