  • i'm really trying not to be mean about it but I'm really upset because i just spent many months saving 21600 iridescent to get a skin for oni and now i can't play him.. feels bad man. i really hope it gets hotfixed. the next patch isn't coming in another 2 weeks.

  • i like self care. Even though it's at half speed than normal, it doesn't change the amount of total survivor time being used. I won't have to depend on teammates for heals in that case and they can go off to do something else. They usually leave me injured anyways.

  • no he doesn't need nerf. learn how to play.

  • @Onyx_Blue yes we are on the same page. Agree 100%

@Gzilla no, atm you can start killing as soon as the survivor gets unhooked. My idea was to make it so you cannot kill anyone until all 4 survivors have been hooked at least once. Meaning you can't just hook one, hook another, kill the first, second is unhooked then killed instantly too. You actually have to earn it by getting the whole team hooked before gaining such a bs advantage

Okay I understand now and I really like this idea. What about keys though? if moris get nerfed so should keys

  • I dont think the ratio of charges to speed is going to equal the same at all. This seems to be an intentional nerf to toolboxes, and rightfully so. I imagine that the speed will be x1.5 or 2 and the charges will be reduced by about 66-75%. Thats just my speculation though an we will have to playtest to find out, but point is it should be a nerf.

As far as sabotaging changes go, they look to be more of a change then a nerf or buff. I think that sabotaging will be more viable in some situations and less in others. Lets say it takes 5 to 7 seconds to sabo a hook. There is no more 99% them. Since the killer can see auras of survivors near hooks, the chance given to change target hooks should be sufficient enough in most cases to warrant adaptation, but in some cases where there arent many hooks nearby, say in a corner of the map, this will be more challenging for the killer. As it stands sabotaging is a bit of a meme atm and i welcome the change. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think the wallbreaking abilities will be easy to supplement into the game with little coding and will be a welcome change to break those pesky loops for killers and hopefully bring some more balance to the game. I am unsure if it will be enough but it's a step in the right direction.

Bottom line is dont assume the worst until you can see it for yourself, and remember to give feedback.

  • @onyx_blue is that not how ebony works EXACTLY as is already?

  • I would add another objective for survivors to do to slow the game down.. just a lil bit.

  • I try not to use it every game (i love devour hope myself) but I still feel it necessary on some killers, especially m1 killers. If the game didnt go by so fast then i would definitely consider using it a lot less.

  • I take no credit for any of my ideas being original. I simply want to get more people talking and to voice my own opinion in hopes of change. I dont want old mettle of man back in the state it was per se but i would like to see it playable again. I think they can and will get rid of inifite loops in due time (reworking maps isnt easy, but they have said it is coming). Maybe a way to combat that is to make the base movement of killers SLIGHTLY faster or bloodlust to be triggered quicker for now. And far as simplicity, i dont think it would be anything hard to grasp for people. Its like the cube that you had to fit the blocks in as a kid essentially. But at the very least, i think its detrimental to add some kind of other objective to A. Spice up the game and B. Prevent it from being over in under 5 minutes
