I feel like his main power should be more risk/reard for him. It's way too lenient and lasts for way too long. Also, with turning addons it's too cheesy. They should balance it, but then again, they should balance so many things. Will they? Maybe. In 3 years time, there's a 15% possibility they might look into it, after 60 more killer DLCS, 150 more wigs.

Ummmm... what turning addons exactly? If you wanna talk about addons talk about his duration addons. If you stack two of his best addons his power lasts much longer and doesn't have nearly as much of a "penalty" when downing survivors. At base the power lasts a perfectly fine amount of time. And even WITH addons, unless survivors are lining up and don't move whatsoever you are pretty much never going to get 4 downs in his power. With no duration addons 3 is near impossible. Oni is fine.

  • Not everything has infinite vertical height. Very specifically the Terror Radius does not. The Terror radius is a sphere with a radius of whatever size your Terror Radius is as a result of your base Terror Radius and any modifiers from addons/perks/power. It seems pretty much EVERYTHING in the game that lists a range actually has a sphere around it with a radius of the stated range EXCEPT boons. Like I said it only matters in very niche scenarios like RPD where height actually matters, but it is something to keep in mind.

You can tell that the TR does not have infinite vertical height because the Killer with a TR of 24m was sitting as close to the totem as possible, and I was actually closer to the Killer than the Boon when I was in the basement in the video.

  • Honestly? I don't think it's the biggest deal. Does it make them hell on earth on maps like RPD? Yes. But not many other maps have such verticality to them that it matters so much. Eyrie comes to mind too I suppose. I just think its interesting and another thing to add to the LONG LONG list that is reasons to hate boons.

On maps with a little bit of verticality to them all it does is allow survivors to heal 1-2 meters further away from the boon than they would be able to otherwise, which aside from very niche scenarios where it barely clips the corner of a room it doesn't end up mattering in the long run. Now, the fact that they're vertical at ALL is an issue in my opinion, not necessarily the WAY that they interact with verticality.

  • Way more often than I'm given kills when the survivors get a 3/4 out for having good chases.

" All you're going to see is M&A being a requirement and undetectable perks (Meaning Tinkerer) being used way more often on DS."

Hm... I'm not sure how undetectable perks would help against Decisive Strike. Plus, how is that relevant?

this is a joke right? they meant DS as in Deathslinger. I know DS often mean decisive, but I felt it was pretty obvious here what they meant lol

Well adept Nurse suggests that you're actually good at playing Nurse, so you get it by getting better ;)

It's actually fairly easy with Nurse, chose Midwitch or Dead Dawg which might help.

Some other killers however have it harder due to their scoring event. For example Pig has a hard time getting Deviousness. You get 2000 for the traps, but then you need 12 dahs attacks which is not realistic against decent survivors.

Ghostface has the opposite problem, if you use his power well, you end up with barely any Hunting points.

If it helps, go for adept after the reset. Your survivors won't be easier now, but the requirements for Merciless Killer at grade 20 are a lot lower than grade 1, so you could even get it if one escapes through the hatch.

Adept doesn't rely on point scoring events, you could get far from 32k and still get Merciless. It's based on the emblem system, which actually doesn't favor certain killers, such as killers with a one shot (billy, bubba, gf, etc). Those killer get less "Chaser" emblem since a chase is considered "won" when you get a hit, not only when you down them. This means that getting 2 hits to end a "chase" is actually better for the system.

Adept should be changed, considering even the devs have admitted the pip scoring system is greatly flawed and getting merciless at red grade or whatever it's called now is near impossible against competent survivors if you aren't play an S tier killer you're good at. The only bright side is now with SBMM you get reset back to the lowest grade, where the pipping system is much more lenient so you can go for your adepts after grade reset.

  • Like Huge_Bush said, slow down perks are almost a 100% necessity if you want to win as killer, and it just so happens that Ruin is one of the stronger perks to do so. Pop makes you actively give up chases and, well surge doesn't work for a good amount of the killers and it's regression is minimal. Is it bad that I can't even think of the other ones? Probably, but it's just indicative of the fact we need more options, or should not feel the need to have such options. It doesn't mean Ruin is OP.
