Yeah, it's stupid. The fact that the punishment is exponential is completely unnecessary as well. I read somewhere that they claim the penalty system is supposed to "give us a minute to go cool off and reapproach the game with a clear head". Pfft, my you-know-what (since we can't swear here). It doesn't take normal people hours->days to cool off. Making it so we can't come back for longer and longer if we may or may not "need to go take a breather" is just going to p*** us off more until, like you said, we eventually won't come back. It already takes enough effort to not send tower messages cussing out some of the most toxic players I've ever seen in any game. It's basically like OSS (out of school suspension). Not really a punishment when I'm off doing something else I wanted to do in the meantime while they think they're "punishing" me...

I feel like Survive with Friends wouldn't be such a huge burden if they actually let friends get together and earn Bloodpoints in their matches. Friends have no incentive other than practice to get into private matches with anybody. They need to offer private groups the option of getting Bloodpoints same as the rest of us. Even if it's at a much lesser rate due to the overwhelming likelihood that players would just allow each other to farm them in said matches. Maybe offer other benefits. Like unlocks, rewards or bonuses that can only be earned in private matches? Nothing to do with Bloodpoints. Exclude them. Seems like a dead end idea because you can just go and die with three of your buddies but God forbid you get anything out of helping a friend learn how to play killer...

I doubt there will ever be any real balance. I'm not a try-hard and have only a casual player's mindset so I couldn't even start the day without getting Mori'd in my first match and found first in my second match. Plus I'm not clear on the rules behind the frickin' quit penalty timer so the first time I got too frustrated to stick around because things were going too wrong over and over, I automatically get hit with the 30min??? Does that trash last all week? Cuz it sure as Hell doesn't reset when you get your new daily rituals...
