  • As a survivor main. I've played a lot today. And all I encounter is killers camping, proxy camping, and tunneling. It's not fun. Killers are ruining the game for literally everyone. No joke, I have not gotten one game where a killer DIDNT camp, or tunnel. I'm honestly gonna stop play this game because of how toxic every single killer is. This game is such BS.

I love how OP says "we only have ONE black woman which is the most hated group of people for some reason even though they’re the prettiest on the planet".

The reason she's often hated isn't because of the way she looks, it's because lots of people use her to blend in with the dark environment like a chameleon, and killers are tired of playing where's waldo with her.

I agree, as a survivor main I personally don't care about the color of the survivor and I'm Native American. Whenever I play with Claudettes they usually use iron will or urban and always use the blendette strat. Half of the time Claudettes don't contribute at all, such as not doing gens and hiding. They get hit one time then run away using self-care. I've tried using self-care and I would very much rather have one of my teammates heal me than take a whole decade in a corner doing nothing except be selfish. What I care about most when it comes to the survivors is the perks, not what skin color they are. It's just a game

So I’ve been seeing a lot of toxicity in the forums and wanted to post a more positive post. I also wanted to see if this would give me some insight on what new teachables to get, as I’ve grown quite the collection of them. As for me, my favorite survivor perk is stake out. It’s extremely underrated and very easy to get good use out of. My favorite killer perk is a tough one. I suppose I have to go with pop goes the weasel, or surveillance. Since ruins rework, I’ve found that one of my favorite combinations is ruin surveillance. It saves time, and gives you pretty good information. I like to use this on high mobility characters like legion. Pop however is on the other side of the ruin rework. It helps get that regression you need without the gamble of it being deactivated before you get use out of it. Anyways that’s my opinions, but what are yours? Once again, please explain why. I enjoy talk of strategy.

I had to think about this one cause I like using a bunch of different perks. But it would have to be "Aftercare" by Ashley. I like aftercare because if I end up helping the 3 survivors in the beginning of the match then it's basically a kindred but someone doesn't have to be hooked. It's helpful in many ways such as:

1- If someone gets injured, I can look at all 3 survivors and pin point who it is and know how close the killer is to me.

2- I've noticed in almost every game, the other survivors come it me for healing and it makes me feel like I'm actually being a contributor to the game.

3- I will know if anyone is going for a save or not. If not, then I can go for the save. If someone is, just keep working on gens. Cause it's like kindred.

Overall, I just like using this perk because I feel like I'm able to be more useful if I know what's going on almost all the time

I would add a favorite killer perk, but I rarely ever play killer because I main survivor.

Yea but your attitude has an effect and it is definitely negative. I'm suggesting this carries over when you're playing games, and you may be experiencing your ban as a result.

Saying nothing in a chat box, doesn't mean you didn't speak for the entire duration of the trial. Actions such as Teabagging, abandoning your unsafe unhooks, crashing every pallet, using head on for any reason, and many more all have an impact on your outward but unspoken communication. I added this to digress, your attitude may very well be suspect in your six hour ban.

The attitude? Have you read any of the comments? Maybe he's just pissed that he got a 6 hour ban for DC'ing once because of a power surge. How would feel if you got a ban for 6 hours for no reason. Pretty pissed huh?

one DC = 5 minute ban

two DCs = 5 minute ban

three DCs = 15 minute ban

    ...

a LOT more than one DC = 6 hour ban

the way this system works is, that when you DC you "level up" - the higher the "level" is, the longer the ban is going to be. these "levels" will not reset on their own, but instead you will lose ONE "level" with ~10 hours of DC free gameplay.

so if you DCed multiple times in longer periodes of time, without having 10 hrs of DC free gameplay inbetween, you will get harsher bans every time.

also keep in mind, this system does count game crashes as "Disconnecting", so maybe your game crashed a few times, leading to the long ban time?

anyway, you can not get a 6 hour ban just for DCing once without having any previous history in disconnecting.

also, before a mod says it:

the forums arent the right place to address bans.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Do you really think this dude will DC, wait. Then DC again. Wait. DC, wait. So on and so forth alllllll the way to 6 hours just to post this in the forums? I mean come on, that's just ridiculous.

  • One time, it was me and a Nancy left in the match. My friend was screen watching (swf cause he died) and saw she was just running around in the basement so I was just gonna sit and wait as well because I had "Left Behind". The killer ended up finding me first so I booked it all the way to the basement and the Nancy got moried. I didn't get the hatch but that's what you get for just trying to wait it out. They got salty and messaged me "no left behind😘". Gotta love this community I guess😂

You wont get a 6 hour Ban for Disconnecting once. You have DCed way more often to get such a huge ban.

You really think this dude would literally wait for every single ban to finish, just to DC immediately? Then just keep waiting and waiting just to make this post to the dbd forums? Nah. That's definitely a bug.
