  • tunneling can be divided into “soft” and “hard” tunneling, tunneling can also be on accident. Let’s say the rescuer is a stealth goblin. Oops; guess I’m tunneling now. Soft is say let’s say the killer hits someone else and is in chase for a little; but drops and comes and finds you. It still sucks; especially if your out of position because you thought the killer wasn’t planning on tunneling you, but isn’t really tunneling, he was just having a hard time chasing the other survivors and threw the towel on being the nice guy. True tunneling is like ignoring other survivors, or not paying any attention to them after a M1, waiting out the endurance (and the survivor is actively trying to run away), and just coming back to hook immediately. Coming back to hook in it of itself isn’t always tunneling, especially say you want value from your hemmorage addon or using the perk leverage. But still. Uhh. Yeah!

  • I feel like your too worried about it. its a uncommon addon and 15% is still feel good. Springtrap has some of the best designed add-ons EVER for a killer. i wish PH and Nemy got a hard add-on rework to be more like him. the difference between 2.55 and 2.4 is so little, i really dont care, as for bonnie's guitar strings, it still does what it does, they didnt gut anything. they just, made it a little weaker. im excited to use the party hat and the CPU now, though!!

    Get better, pressure better.

Pick your targets and objectives better.

    Generators are not too fast.

Easy for a nurse player to say 🤣 but seriously, your right. generators are not fast. But a commodus toolbox with extra speed and extra charges is absolutely busted unless i'm blight, nurse, or even singularity and billy in some maps.

You can practice the fundamentals of the new killers power with bots in custom games. It's there specifically for this purpose.

If you feel like you have the basics of that killer down already, then understand you should want the skill ceiling to be higher than the floor.

I'm not sure why it's so taboo to lose a game because you haven't instantly mastered the character after five minutes. Only on these forums does this weird expectation seem to exist where you should be able to simultaneously learn the character from scratch while dominating every game at the same time.

Its not exactly that, its just its so odd that I go against such stacked survivors on a brand-new killer. I totally understand losing because I'm bad at this particular killer, but heres the thing, even if I get fast chases, or im always in chase the entire game, and the gens still fly.

  • I sure hope so, because every time this happens its when im not running lethal. and I spawn in the middle of the map.

I feel like the main issue with trying to balance this stuff is that survivor gen speed perks and toolboxes are available immediately for the most part and they all stack. The very first gen 5 seconds into the match can have its time halved essentially. Makes it really hard to balance gen speed because if you just increase the base gen time, it makes it too much for ppl who ARNT stacking this stuff.

exactly, playing solo q with no toolbox and gens take forever, then i eat 2 pain res' on the same gen. it sucks.

Yeah, in the past one gen regression or two would do the trick nicely, since individually they would give a nice regression, but since all the important ones have been nerfed, you kinda have to stack them to be able to play the games. I would suggest using my build: Pain Resonance, Dead Man's Switch, Plaything, and Pentimento, as it still provides a nice gen defence.

I know those perks are all good, but heres the issue. I want to use some silly perks, like fire up, or a simple info perk like BBQ, it just sucks that i have to stack regression in 2025

  • I like the old one a little more. they should add a “music intensity” setting in audio so you can change it
