I've been playing Ghostface almost exclusively since he came out and I find that sometimes the better option is to just run. Gain as much distance as you can, because when you DO get marked you don't want to be close to him. A mistake survivors make all the time is they stand right in front of me trying to break me out of stalk. Sometimes it works, but when it doesn't it's a free down.

I say just run if you think GF is stalking you. Get into a good position where you can look at him (near a pallet or window generally), but prioritize distance over breaking stalk. And if you see him stalking someone ELSE that's when you get close to break his stalk, because you are at the lowest risk of messing up at that point.

If you can bait out a hit that resets the stalk meter. Yes, you are now injured but it's better than being downed. Sometimes it might be a better idea to just take a hit.

Really appreciate the tip, may help my games in the incoming future.

Here are some tips against Ghostface:

    1. If you're in the dying state or on a hook, you can still reveal Ghostface by just looking at him.
    2. If he's NOT leaning and he's stalking you, just look at him to reveal him because you can reveal him before he can exposes you.
    3. If he IS leaning and he's stalking you, break LoS as soon as possible because you won't be able to reveal him fast enough to prevent the exposed status effect.
    4. Staying injured makes his Night Shroud useless as exposing you when you're already a 1-hit is practically useless. However, be careful with the mind games because he can still hide his red stain with his power.
    5. If you see Ghostface chasing your teammate, keep an eye on him because if he uses Night Shroud to mind game his position, he will get revealed.

Does leaning changes the amount of time it takes to stare at him to break him?
