The cage typically puts you completely across the map from him and if he tunnels, that's a player issue, not the character. And his ranged attack is good but can be dodged, it only really works when the survivor is locked in an animation. And so what? Every killer has a strategy to get you in a position so they can hit you. If it insta-downed that'd be one thing, but it doesn't, and there's no add-on that lets it. Meanwhile quickscoping deathslinger can shoot before it's even possible to react, and if you catch doctor on the meat packing plant level, he's gonna zap you pretty much regardless of where you are on the map.
Idk, I understand why people can be frustrated in certain scenarios, but nothing he does is game-breaking and everyone knows their are worse killers to deal with currently, I just don't get the hype.
I play killer and survivor about 50/50 now that i’ve got both consistently at rank 1/2 most of the time.. As a killer i love PH for the exact same reasons I hate him as a survivor. Because the character is broken.. He completely eliminates pallets and windows.. use them? get hit, don’t? get hit. PH loops off almost everything with his trails and then has the option for cages and a built in Mori, I honestly have no clue how anyone could say he isn’t busted, and i’m not saying other killers aren’t just as good, i just don’t see a point in trying to defend a PH. Want to talk about tunneling? he’s the king! a double hit directly off a hook every time, i truthfully don’t see how any one defends the character at this point and I can’t see why he’s built like this & the devs left him built like this for so long without a nerf.
