Me reading the patch notes : cool.. mm thats seem too much but we'll see.
Reach Mettle of Man: "laughs for at least 2 minutes"
Being serious, i mean.. at least they hearead us about it needing a buff.. they just forgot to read any of our suggestion and came up with something else which usally work for them.. not this time tho.
I was laughing pretty hard when I got to the Mettle of Man part as well too. LMAO come on BHVR! It's almost insulting at this point. I wonder what the thought process was behind the person that decided to implement this change.
I have seriously tried to make the reworked MoM work and maybe get it to proc one time out of every 15 games. The best way I found to proc it is run self care (or medkit), borrowed time, mettle of man, filler perk. To even have a chance of MoM proccing, you have to play like an #########. Run up to a survivor getting hooked, take a hit, then unhook in front of the killers face. Or just take a hit when survivor is being carried and go heal up.
But truth is, playing like this does nothing to help your team and ends up just making fellow survivors suicide on hook or disconnect. Go through all this just for the off chance that I can take an extra hit. I can tell there is no way in hell anyone is going to make this proc twice, it's already hard enough to proc once as it is.
Perk needs to be completely gutted and reworked.

Can confirm it is especially terrible as myers. The lag delay really messes up your stalking. Numerous times I pop T3 and the music plays but then it instantly regresses back to T2 due to the ping delay. Hard to save up stalk for when you need it due to the ping issue.
Not only that but there is a delay before you even start stalking. In westcoast USA btw. I gave far better ping to survivors than these dedicated servers.

As echoed above, she simply just isn't fun to play against. But I don't think the problem lies entirely with the spirit. The problem more lies with game design.
For most survivors, the game is at it's best during chases. Chases are exhilarating, fun, and tense. This is why Michael Myers is so loved by survivors, there's a creepy stalking phase, then an aggressive chasing phase. You have time to react and poop your pants a little. Against a half decent spirit, those chases are gonna end in a matter of seconds. It's not fun because the chase mostly isn't there. Your best hope is to rush generators and get out. Most survivors would agree that doing generators is not much fun.
I don't blame people for playing spirit. I can slap infectious fright on her and slug my way to an easy 4k in a short time. Yet I still main myers because as a killer and survivor, I enjoy a long chase, even if I get 1, 2 or even 0 kills.
I think the main problem with the game is that doing objectives is boring, and the game goes by way too fast. Getting into a long chase usually results in the game ending in a matter of minutes.
Dead by daylight is strongest during the chases and what keeps me and likely others playing. More emphasis should be put on the chases and making objectives more fun to do. Nobody wants to hold m1 to finish a generator. Last year and Friday the 13th did the objective part right, just the chases weren't nearly as fun.

I like the perk its a powerful perk that doesn't feel unfair like the old mettle of man (please rework mettle of man!)
The only beef I have with Inner strength is that I can almost never get second wind to activate. This perk has become meta for a lot of survivors that most healing is done in lockers these days.
Second Wind and Inner Strength work against each other.

This is stupid on so many forms. They should ban everyone who abused this bug because they are knowingly and willingly exploiting a bug too end games faster then they should.
It's not the games fault, its the gamers who should know better.
Do you really want the devs to ban people that are using/abusing this perk? Think about it man, killer queues are already extremely painful. Last thing this game needs is a mass ban wave on survivor mains.

Definitely Michael.
When I turn around and see michael stalking me... i ######### my pants and run as fast as i can.
When I turn around and see ghostface stalking me... I look him straight and the eye and think to myself "not you again, go away"
Ghostface just doesn't spook me like michael does... Ghostface is just some edgy teenager while michael is evil incarnate.

Maybe 2 seconds might be too much. I didn't think about body blocking when carrying survivors to the hook. Especially since mad grit only grants 4 seconds. Maybe changing it down to 1 second might be better? Would be 1/4th the power of mad grit. I feel that's balanced since 4 survivors and 1 killer.
1 second is enough to take a hit and unhook from a face camping killer without him immediately downing you.

4 perks is fine but something needs to be change about the base design of the game.
For years all my killers run BBQ and Hex: Ruin. I hate both of these perks but ruin is necessary on most killers that lack map pressure. BBQ is a good perk but I'd rather use other perks. However the BP grind in this game is so steep that not running BBQ makes it unbearable.
Killers and survivors should have more ways to increase their BP gain. Or better yet, BP gain should not be tied to perks. Something should also be done about generators being done too quick. As someone who likes to main myers I feel like my games are decided on how fast ruin is destroyed.
