Oh my lord, this! I remember playing with my friend the first day and he tried to save me by dropping a pallet and it just pushed the killer out of the way and I had to explain him the stiff logic that during animations nothing happens and frankly we both agreed its so ridiculous and unfun but we couldn't do anything about it.
I understand the engine is very stiff but considering the game's success it would be very pleasant if one of the most disliked aspects of this game would be corrected at some point.
