Ah well that's good to know. I have felt often times that I'd like to turn down sound effects to be able to hear more important audio cues, since the game seems to rely on quite a few that easily get drowned out by the sound of a generator being repaired, for example.
I assume the inability to fiddle with more precise audio levels is for the sake of balance above all else though. If someone wanted to hear the music over the sound effects then they'd be at a disadvantage to someone who wanted sound effects over music. But I do feel that they could perhaps make the audio cues a higher priority, as they are sometimes hard to pick out. I don't think I -ever- heard an audio cue for level 1 Premonition. Might be by design, that one..
But yeah, The Spirit strikes me as a simple killer on the surface but capable of quite a lot if you're able to use her power well. Easy to play, but immensely difficult to master. I guess that's why the odd time I'm up against a good Spirit player, or at least relatively speaking, it seems like I just can't get away from her even if everything goes in my favour. Most killers don't seem to pay attention to sound honestly. The ones that do are very.. omnipresent, it almost feels like.

Yeah I've got some pretty solid headphones that I use already while I'm playing, so I've got that covered pretty nicely thankfully! But yeah I don't honestly play to the weaknesses of killers nearly enough, but it's definitely something I need to start doing.
Once again, thank you very kindly for the advice, it's greatly appreciated, considering I've just been stumbling about figuring little things out here and there. Knowing these sorts of things will be nice, if I manage to remember them!

Mmm. That's fair. I didn't actually think about the blade wipe. At all. Probably something I would've thought about if I played a killer at all! But like I said in my original post, I'm waiting to get The Spirit for that. But hey, thanks for the advice, that's actually really helpful.
