I could see David being somewhat hostile upon first arriving to the campfire. He'd probably be annoyed and confused as to where he is and try to pick a fight with the other guys. Later on he'd calm down and keep to himself until he got dragged into a trial. He would be wondering what the bloody hell is going on. He'd be walking until he saw the killer and at first would hide behind something to get a clear look. After a while another survivor would be screaming from being chased and the downed, David would follow the sound until he got deep within the terror radius of the killer and see a fellow survivor being hooked. At this point David would get mad, seeing someone helpless being hurt. After the killer left the hook he would unhook the survivor and probably tell them something like "Don't worry, we're gonna live forever". The killer would come back and David would rush the killer in order to save the other, trying to fight, but quickly finding out that he physically can't fight, and before being hit, he would dead hard to dodge the attack. So instead he toys with the killer, leading them on chases until he got downed and hooked, repeating the cycle again. After the first trial David would start forming bonds with other survivors, growing more protective of them over time, being the one who would always be the first to unhook them and take hits for them whenever he can. I'd think David would get along with Bill and Ash.
