Would you try this Resident Evil challenge?
I got inspired by Otzdarva's Assimilation challenge and created my own version based on Resident Evil. In this challenge, the roster is smaller, every death can change or break your roster, and your game sense might matter even more than perks. I'd love to hear your opinions or any suggestions to make it even more interesting.

Main goal:
Every Killer represents a bioweapon loose in Raccoon City. Your goal is to escape each outbreak against all available Killers with every survivor in your roster.
Perks:
Assign a number of perks for your chosen survivor to have for the rest of the challenge. Each survivor in your roster cannot use the same perks as another survivor.
Think of perks as lore accurate abilities and senses.
Bioweapon Mutations:
Every time you face the same Killer, that bioweapon "mutates."
Mutations allow you to change your build to counter one or more perks the Killer used.
Infection:
If your survivor dies, they are considered infected with the T-virus and must be removed from your playable roster until cured.
To bring an infected survivor back, choose another survivor and enter a match with a mission to retrieve the "vaccine" and escape.
If the rescuer dies, the infected survivor loses one perk for every failed rescue attempt, up to 4 attempts.
If an infected survivor reaches 4 infection progression (loses 4 perks), they fully transform and become unplayable.
Perk Recovery:
To regain a lost perk, the cured survivor must escape a match. For every survivor escaping with them, they gain an additional perk slot.
Samples:
After 3 successful escapes, you can bring back one fully infected survivor. The rescuer permanently loses one perk slot if doing so.
Item Box:
Your roster shares one item box.
Items from the Bloodweb don't count and cannot be brought to the trials.
You may loot items in-match only and store them when you escape.
Only perks can give add-ons.
The challenge is lost if all available characters die.
Comments
Interesting, but how does one retrieve the "vaccine?" By waiting for a Nemesis match and getting the vaccine?
Just escaping is enough. I think finding chests or doing side objective is too situational.
Okay, and when making the four attempts to rescue an infected Survivor, do you use the same Survivor (just losing perk slots)? Or do they become infected as well, and you have to choose a different rescuer to try to cure the previous two? And can the previous ones become cured simultaneously?
To rescue an infected survivor, you only need one escape, and any survivor can be sent as the rescuer. When a rescuer escapes, they keep all their perks. If a rescuer becomes infected themselves, they also become unplayable until they're cured.
Each failed rescue attempt removes one perk from the infected survivor, almost like their infection is progressing and stripping away their abilities. If multiple survivors are infected at the same time, a single escape from a rescuer will cure all of them at once.
If you want the challenge to be harder, you can limit a rescuer to saving only one infected survivor at a time.
Okay, I think I'm getting a better understanding now. I might just try this for the new year, after the Bone Chill event ends. XD
I'm not sure how to work the "Survivors can't share perks" rule. The easy figure would be to equip each Survivor with their adept perks + one generic perk, but I don't think there are enough generic perks to go around, so I'm afraid it'd be impossible to avoid a slight overlap...
I made an example for the perks. The idea is to create a perk pool for each survivor and pick the set they will use throughout the challenge. In the image, I added only a few as an example, but they can have a wide variety. This table is an easy way to remember which perks are assigned to each survivor and to track their progress.
I just took a quick screenshot from a perk tier list instead of attaching every image separately. 😅
