More ravens on open and half-open maps?

Why are there practically no crows on open maps, mainly in the center and near the center? All of their number is concentrated at the edges of the map. Why not add a raven to the corn field? This is logical. Crows love to sit in corn. Add more ravens to the map.

    Their response last time someone asked this question was that because the ravens use up a moderate amount of CPU usage, and in order to optimize the game (especially on consoles) they simply cannot have more in the level.
