when playing a killer why do survivors not click ready to play the game

when it takes a long time to get in to a game im just guessing but im thinking they have there items and add ons and so on done already but still wait for the 1 minute timer and even when they join as a team? after waiting a long time already im guessing should be done theres no problem just not sure why thats all can some one tell me please

    When I play SWF my friends sometimes forget to press ready because it takes a while to find games so in the meantime we are watching videos or doing stuff on our phones and they always seem to forget to ready or even notice that we joined a match until I tell them.

    Sometimes I'm going to use the bathroom, grabbing a snack, doing bloodweb stuff, changing my perks, doing things on stream that takes my attention, could be any number of things.

    If anything, you should be asked why the KILLER isn't ready yet when they have more time to prep LUL

    On ps4 it takes anywhere from 5-15+ minutes to find a lobby as survivor for me. So instead of staring at the screen the entire time i usually am on my phone or something.

    But i try to keep an eye on it the best i can, because i can't stand waiting even a minute more after 15 already

    Those 60secs give me additional time to eat, listen to music, or whatever it is that I may be doing. Then the loading screen just top it off lol.

    Many different reasons.

    • Someone could be watching a video waiting for others to load the lobby
    • A survivor could just be doing it intentionally to get a rise out of others
    • The ping could be going high-wire and they're seeing if it'll get stable or not
    • The lobby isn't full yet
    • They could of just forgot

    It all depends really.
