Can BHVR tell the difference between normal lag and lag switching

I've just come out of a normal game on xbox playing as Killer with a pretty bad internet connection. I've had two survivors from the game accusing me of lag switching (admittedly right after they were sacrificed) and it got me wondering if BHVR would be able to tell the difference between if I had lagged normally or if I had lag switching

    Should add. I'm asking because they said they'd report me and I was wondering if id get banned for something I didn't do if there was no way to tell the difference
