State of the game / what's the point?

So I've been an avid DbD player for years now. From the PC to the Xbox, I've three perstiaged several survivors, perstiaged a killer or two. Played from 20 to I think topped out around 3 survivor rank. I generally hang out in the green and purple ranks just due to time constraints.

I think many of you, both survivor and killer miss the point of a match. The objective is the same for both sides. Get bloodpoints.

As the killer, there's nothing more annoying to me than hooking survivors and running to the other side of the map to see them dangling on n the hook. As a killer I'm not after kills, I want hooks. Hooks typically mean two hits, a down, and a hook, occasionally 1 hit and down. But I get many many more points in a game where everyone escapes, but I hooked the entire team twice rather than a simple 4k where I 1hooked everyone.

And on the flip side of that I don't want games where as a survivor we gen rush and nobody gets hooked, or the killer camps their first hook. If the killer is gonna sit and proxy camp I'll absolutely gen rush then, but I'd rather not. Their decision to camp forces that. I want my entire team, including myself to get hooked at least once. O need those altruism points.

Idk what my point is really, but I suppose that to really have "great" games, those 29-32k bp games you need your opponent to have them as well. If a survivor has 25-30k points you can bet the killer does too. I want 3h4ks but in order for that to happen I need the survivors to have 11 unhooks. If I want max altruism, I need to unhook and heal my people. You need me to unhook and heal so you can get hit and hook points.
