Solution for: "Ultrawide to FULL HD"

Hello, are you hooked to widescreen? Don't be anymore!

I found a way to make game work like in Full HD so you can see as much from top and bottom without Streching. I did NOT find way to make black bars unless you get black wallpaper AND there is also Task Bar problem. But I use my Task Bar on the side, so it doesn't bother me.

So...

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

In this file there are lines:

ResolutionSizeX=1920

ResolutionSizeY=1080

LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=1920

LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1080

Set the values as I wrote above.


Then in steam, right click DBD and select properties and select "Set launch options..."

Write the following:

-windowed -borderless -nowindow -w 1920 -h 1080


Didn't bother find a way to get the game above Task Bar due personal advantages. So to make yourself a better person in every aspect you can unlock your Task Bar and drag it to side.


Now the game should open like this...

NOTE: Black color outside the game is my background and there are no shortcut icons there.

If you somehow think that I managed to hide them with this method.
