Boil over should give control over which direction we sway
Take away all of boil overs current effects and Keep in mind, it having the same physical "push" (ie struggling sway is increased by 75% or whatever) but instead of it being a random direction by pressing a direction on your keyboard/analog stick you will attempt to sway in the other direction, as the struggle bar is auto struggling at the same speed (Or to keep in line with the normal struggle mechanics have the swings oriented by where your looking)
Swaying the killer backwards would slow the killer far less then swaying sideways and even fowards mind you so you wouldn't be able to just sway backwards and stall for the hook giving you more struggle time. This change is meant to allow the survivor more control over which direction they want to struggle into ie to try and get the killer to knock into a wall and waste time. Purely counterable still by walking in the opposite direction and having the inputs mostly overwritten by the killers own walking.
(As an optional addition you could also make it have skillchecks at 25-50-75% which increase the struggle when hit during the struggle. Make it start off even weaker then normal boil over but get more powerful at swaying the closer the player is to wiggling off.)
Tldr give us control over the sway and make swaying sideways the same, fowards more powerful and backwards less powerful. Take away the randomness somewhat but not really straight buffing the perk as giving it a quality of life change. This would make struggling more of an active mechanic through the use of this perk and make it more engaging for survivors. All of this isn't attempting to make it a second d strike, but to make it a more engaging perk with the quality of life change
Tldr for the tldr - boil over rework qol change to improve it's usability without giving free escapes
