1v1 EGC: What to do?
Introduction:
I see a lot of players struggling to escape during the EGC, since you're on a timer and you cannot get caught. Therefore, here I am explaining to the community on how to have the best chance to survive the collapse!
What to do?
Firstly, don't hunt for the hatch when you obviously don't know where it's at. This is because if the killer closes the hatch, you'll be wasting time doing nothing since you're not in position to start opening the exit gates immediately. That time would be better off by waiting at the exit gates, and waiting for the killer to close the hatch since you're already in a position to start opening the gates right away. If the killer picks the wrong gate to check on first, you might escape.
If the collapse starts and you're started opening the gates immediately, what happens if the killer finds you? Don't worry, try to lose the killer or loop them till death so you can build your emblems. You can still pip if you get sacrificed, so use that to you advantage! Also, if you lose the killer, start opening the other exit gate because they will likely check the one you progressed the furthest.
What happens if the gates spawn on the same wall? Just run to a hook, and point at it as you have no chance of survival. Or loop the killer for emblems, but that's your choice! :)
