Please do something about toxicity

Everybody know now that you don't really do anything about campers and DC. So, for several weeks, the game has been plagued with those two flaws.

DC is boring. It turns the game harder for survivors, and it's far harder for killers to "pipe". But since players know you don't blame DC due to the lack of dedicated servers, why would they bother not to do it ?

And BTW sometimes they are right to do so. How are survivors supposed to play and pipe with DC AND camping and tunel. Tunnel may be a way of playing, why not. But camping. Considering they lose a poor amount of BP, it seems you care about it. But why is the amount so low ? Or the radius so short ? Just extend both and there will be far less ! Just suspend the loss if the killer is chasing someone, because stupid unhooks have to be punished...

So tell me : how are survivors meant to play betwenn DC's and killers who remain in close vicinity, basically camping and not being punished for it ? The game is hard enough not to have to deal with it, especially considering it's so easy to correct that...

And until you'll have dedicated servers, here is an easy way to proceed : you can be DC sometimes by your network, or a computer problem. But if this occurs often, or if the player is named "XXX => DC", and those players are reported again and again... No need to be a genius to ban him...

I like this game. But playing survivors has become a pain due to both these flaws. Streamers complain about it. Cool players same. And all of them are hostages of your lack of action, and of toxic players... Please please please :)

  • The radius for camping penalty isn't short. It is about 16 meters which considering the situation is huge. Also the camping penalty doesn't effect bp it effects your emblem points for chaser. So long term campers actually mess with their ability to rank. That said you're going see people camp because the devs have said it is a reasonable tactic, but in general it isn't what you should be doing if you want to rank up and have decent bp gains.

DC bans are based on threshold. A player needs to disconnect at a certain percentage in relation to the total amount of games they play before they get banned. Also recently the game was so unstable that they relaxed the percentage threshold so as not to punish players who were just dealing with the game being messed up. Now that the game is more stable they've went back to the older threshold.

  • Problem is camping is not a good way to rank, I admit, but they totally ruin both game and fun of the survivor, and probably make them backpipe for nothing...
