The survivors are supposed to be putting their hands blindly through all kinds of painful and unsanitary crap.

Maybe, in the spirit of Saw, survivors now have the option to take a scalpel if they don’t wish for those debuffs. They then have the choice to attack another survivor and find a key that way.

    That would be absurd and probably unfun as heck for lower ranked games. I'd say at most, a high-rarity add-on that injures Healthy Survivors (not Injured, so it can't down) who search boxes.
